These never got submitted for some reason
Set 1
Quetzalcoatl And his Brother Xolotl
The two twin gods of creation in Myan myth.Quetzalcoatl was also known as Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli meaning lord of the star of the dawn.He was considered the Morning star and Xolotl the evening star(Venus).Quetzalcoatl was seen as a feathery serpent and his brother as a Skeleton/canine thing with backwards feet
Set 2
Unicorns
-The Unicorn was believed to be the natural enemy of the lion - a symbol that the English royals adopted around a hundred years before,According to folklore, the lion and the unicorn hate each other-
-it also had to do with the idea of nobility and purity-
-In Western parts of the world, the unicorn was believed to be real for around 2,500 years and was adopted as Scotlands national animal by King Robert in the late 1300s-
-Unicorns were believed to be wild and un-tamable,Scotland in the Middle Ages was itself famous for being wild and un-tamable-
-typically represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead; a heraldic representation of such an animal, with a twisted horn, a deer's feet, a goat's beard, and a lion's tail.-
-reputed to possess medicinal or magical properties, especially as an antidote to or preventive of poison. It was also said that it could only be captured by a virgin-
Set 3
Cernunnos:Celtic:Wild God of the Forest
-a horned god found in Celtic mythology. He is connected with male animals, particularly the stag in rut, and this has led him to be associated with fertility and vegetation-
-With his mighty antlers, Cernunnos is a protector of the forest and master of the hunt-
-In some traditions, he is seen as a god of death and dying, and takes the time to comfort the dead by singing to them on their way to the spirit world-
-Because of his horns (and the occasional depiction of a large, erect phallus), Cernunnos has often been misinterpreted by fundamentalists as a symbol of Satan. Certainly, at times, the Christian church has pointed to the Pagan following of Cernunnos as "devil worship." This is in part due to nineteenth-century paintings of Satan which included large, ram-like horns much like those of Cernunnos-
