"Jace!" She yelled, running a hand through her hair. "You shouldn't do that! You know how much humans hate dog shifters! You might get hurt... I don't want that to happen." She lowered her voice as her heart melted at the puppy eyes. "I mean, they might seem cool if they think you're human. Who knows how they really act when they meet a shifter?"

"I'm not a dog!" Jace barked, calming himself dog. He hated being compared to one of those drooling mutts, he was much more refined, much more elegant, and not some sort of disgusting housepet. "Second of all, it's probably not going anywhere! it's just a little date-for-fun and hopefully a free meal, I'll bring home leftovers" Jace said, grabbing a nice coat, and taking off his shirt as he went into his room to change.

She frowned, biting her lip. "I'm sorry... Jace..." Kai sighed and went into her room. He's not going to listen to me. "Fine, go. Just don't reveal anything to him or her, I'm serious." Of course, being a cat shifter, she was fine in public but the coyote wolf hybrids were rarer.

Dont worry, I wont! Jace yelled out from his room. There was a loud thud that was obviously Jace tripping or getting caught on something and falling to the ground, followed by a muffled Im okay! Before long, he emerged from his den, looking slightly nicer than usual.

"Still! I told you not to look for me! What if someone followed you?" Toril said crossly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Well other these two."

"Are you alri- you must really like that person." She noted, shaking her head and looking at her hands. "To dress nicely, I mean. I wouldn't go through the effort otherwise. What's their name?"

Her name is Carmine, shes this pretty ginger girl with an over the shoulder ponytail thing, freckles, and these beautiful brown eyes Jace described her. Also, Kai, dont forget, even if you dont really feel attracted, just go out sometimes for those one date things just to get out and have fun, like platonic dates or stuff like that Jace suggested to her
