I agree that this is much better and am nuetral about the tail spiral but now that its been pointed out I also can't unsee the fact that females are missing a leg/arm. It slightly bothers me a bit,hopefully that can get fixed with the nose that everyone else doesn't like.

If you are talking about the arms on the adult, both have the same number of arms/legs. One is just hidden behind the body. So there is no difference in male to female in the number of arms/legs.
