Lupora: Mystic Blaze, M1



I was thinking of some sort of fire coming out of the Luporas jaw, and that same fire lining its fur. Also, I added a soft glow to it so it wouldnt look so plain.

It's supposed to look kind of like the deep sea runes on the Kelpari.

Kitsune/Fox Spirit Garb



Trait location: Mutation slot 2.

This trait is for Zolnixi. It is based on what fox spirits/kitsune wear for attire. It consists of a large bell around the neck, paired with 4 spirit/energy orbs. The accessories on the legs are orbs as well and like the orbs on the neck, they glow. Lastly, the mask attached to its hip is based on a kitsune mask, with loosely hanging ribbons with bells at the ends. The mask itself is supposed to be a kitsune mask but with a twist; the twist being the added marking on the forehead resembling the marking located on a Zolnixi's tail. I wanted to make it more Zolnixi-like in appearance, however I lacked the skill to do so.

Spider Trait Set



Trait Locations:
- Mutation 2 for Spider appendages (and eyes)
- Mutation 3 for Spiderweb wings

This trait set is for Lunemara. It is of course as you can see, based on a spider. The arms have been replaced by spider appendages and are paired together with extra eyes; the spider eyes joining the default eyes for Lunemara. Lastly the normal wings for Lunemara have been replaced by something new. I had the idea to use spider legs joined together with spider webbing to create these new 'wings'.

Note: I used the black widow spider as inspiration for the Lunemara traits, and kitsune/fox spirits as inspiration for the Zolnixi trait.

I'll try and make this more clear in future posts, but if your design for a species encompasses multiple trait slots because of how things are broken down for that particular species, you are fine to submit them all.

The rule is more so against like submitting multiple ideas for the same species... like... say you want to submit Butterfly Wings and Dragon Wings both for the Lupora. That wouldn't be allowed. That's two separate ideas. However, you can submit Butterfly Wings and Butterfly Antennae for the Lupora and just post it as one design. That's totally fine.

The rules posted for these contests are just to make it easier for us to go through the submissions and whatnot. They aren't really 'contest rules' perse. They're just common sense rules, basically. The end goal is to view everyone's ideas and put those ideas to fruition for the betterment of Sylestia. And Trait Sets are totally a thing so you can submit them as your one design idea per species.
