Nyeupe finnaly reaches the top, looking worse for wear. His fur was pink with blood, his numb paw was at an odd angle (and broken), and he had a major limp. Gritting his teeth, he began making his way back to the pride, trying not to pass out.

"What? There hasn't been loners around here in ages. We just took in a trainee, why would we take in a loner? What does she want him to even do? That's not very specific." Busa wrinkled his nose, feeling worse that he had slept in so long. He sighed. "Have we sent out a hunting party yet? Where is this 'loner'?"

Busa stared at his father for a moment. "I'll take it as a no. I guess that's your decision anyhow. I'll go round up a hunting party soon." He turned to lap up the clear water in the pool, hoping to the Great Plains his mother knew what she was doing. And hoping he would never have to.

Nyeupe walked (read: limped) out of the forest, smiling grimly. Turns out, his whole leg was broken, and his fur was now a rose-red from all the blood. He limped into the clearing, he rose and saw the royals, bowed, and said, *greeting, King Shujaa and Queen Vusumuzi. Iv returned with my means of joining the pride.* he spotted Busa, and his eyes narrowed, wondering who that was.

Shujaa walked in front of his son, and looked at Nyeupe. His eyes widened in shock, seeing how badly Nyeupe was hurt. *what happened to you?*

Nyeupe shrugged. *walked off a cliff. No biggie.*

Busa huffed at the loner. This was sure to be a disaster. He sighed. "I'll go get Fundisia."

The grey queen exited the cave, her eyes widening as they came across the bloodied lion. "What happened here?" She demanded. "Does Fundisia know?" She turned to Shujaa in shock.

Shujaa faces his mate and said, *Busas getting her now.*

Nyeupe glances between the royals, and finnaly bowed carefully, trying not to lean on his broken leg. *this is how Im showing you that I want to join this pride.*

Shujaa looked doubtful. *by almost killing yourself?*

Nyeupe shook his head. *this shows that I will do anything to join and help. I failed my last pride, and even if it was out of my paws, the guilt stays. And I dont want to fail this pride. Not now, not ever.*

Shujaa blinked. *your a determined one, Ill give you that. But you wont be any help if your crippled, or dead. You do realize that, right?* Nyeupe nodded. *yes.*

"You say that...." She narrowed her eyes, pacing around the loner. "...but a broken paw means nothing." She was furious, almost snarling at him. "You said you were cast out because you were albino. Which is it? Did your coat send you away...or did your actions? You know nothing of our pride. How could you claim to have such loyalty within half of a sun-cycle?"

Fundisia followed Busa to where the king and queen were standing with the newcomer. It was definitely a compound injury that would need to be sealed from infection. She could see that clearly enough as she leaped down from SunStones. She sighed heavily - these injuries took a long time to heal, and this lion still needed to prove his worth.
