"Maybe the reason none of the dragons from where you come from have ever been befriended by a human is because they are misunderstood," Eragon said, scratching a place under Saphira's ear where there were no scales.

Dorian-

"Whatever the reason they prove quite a threat. Sadly they have to be eliminated at times, though at one point we did take in a baby. It lasted a whole day before it broke out and killed some of the townsfolk. I still have a scar from that last fight." Dorian said holding his side some. "Though I will assure you I'm no threat to a friendly dragon." He said with a smile. "You haven't seen a silver haired elf about have you Saphira."

Giving Dorian a funny look, Saphira replied, 'I have seen many two-legs-pointed-ears with silver hair in Ellesmera. I need more information.'

Dorian-

"He's got a silver tattoo on his face in the shape of a tree. Runs around with socks on his ears most of the time as well. About as tall as I am, still looks twelve."

'I'm afraid I've never seen an elf of that description. I would remember a tattoo like that,' Saphira replied.

Dorian-
"Would you mind keeping an eye out for him then? I mean you two see to get out more than I get to."


(And it just happens that the elf is walking down the street as they speak. A street a few blocks over.)

"This elf is someone special to you, no?' Eragon asked.

Dorian-

"Yes, he is. I'll pay you handsomely for his return."

"I won't accept payment. I'll be back!" he said, dashing out of the shop faster than any human could, before jumping higher than any human could, and landing in Saphira's saddle. She lifted off, and the two were soon soaring over the city. With his enhanced eyesight, Eragon soon saw the elf Dorian had been talking about. He leapt out of Saphira's saddle, and, drawing upon the Eldunari he had with him, said, "Blothr," and he halted midair. He continued, saying, "Eitha eom du deloi," and he slowly lowered to the streets. He found the elf, and told him, "I was sent by Dorian Pavus to find you."

Dexion-

Seeing that the woman wasn't going to answer, he went on. This was hopeless! Why did he try? Sighing he sat down on a nearby bench putting his hands on his face. It was hopeless. A sound next to him made him look up, covering his face as he saw the man. "Please don't hurt me! I don't have any money!" He said in fright before hearing what the man had to say. "D-Dorian? He sent you?! Where is he? Is he alright?!" The elf said jumping up and putting his hands on the other man's shoulders. Wait was this and elf or a human? He couldn't tell honestly.
