With battle wounds consisting of two sliced thumbs and sore hands, I complete this challenge and present my Ny'vene pumpkin carving.

This is supposed to be a bulbori with a witch hat. I am not an artist lol.
The thing that looks like a 3rd eye in the middle is the little heart on her forehead :p

First Cuts made!



Halfway done, tough stuff completed, hopefully the angel cuts will show.


(Mono tone voice) *Five hours Later* All done and testing glow!

My first attempt at sculpting! I hope it counts!

Here's mine. I made the stencil myself using illustrator. It's meant to be a male bulbori with the moon off in the distance illuminating behind the bulbori ^^

I present to you: my Pumpkin Pumpkin! Or, as I like to title it: PumpkInception!
I knew I wanted to carve a pumpkin on my pumpkin, but when I decided to do it for the Sylestia contest, I thought I would make it a little Sylestia related by using the pumpkin graphic used for the digital pumpkin carving contest. Hopefully this falls under acceptable "Sylestia assets"!
I know it's not the most artistically impressive, but hopefully originality counts for some points, heh.

Here is a picture of it lit up. My username is there, although a little hard to see.

This was my first time carving a pumpkin, as far as I can remember. I had fun doing it! Maybe next year I can try for something more intricate.

I didn'tknow how to get the image link from a live photo, so I put them all ona google doc, share by link, I hope this is acceptable.

Mythicvalkyrie and I carved our pumpkins together but her computer blocks image uploading sites, so she asked me to submit both our entries.

so uh. afterwards. i realized that we took pictures with the year and not the date. and a raccoon ate my pumpkin. but mythics survived! so here: the surviving pumpkin!
