maybe it's suppossed to be like this, but I only ever get a wardrobe item when the bonus kicks in. this is frustrating and not really rewarding for defeating a named
If you are using a Level 60+ party, the expected Avatar Item drop rate per Named is about once every 4 Named. Obviously, individual results may vary and this is just the average over thousands of iterations.

Then my luck is pretty bad, I have level 70 pets, I got a "Daily Bonus" avatar item and one from a named after 2 full runs thru the zone.
Also, where are the mystery catalyst to be found? I have gotten two from doing the dailies, but nothing else? Did I miss something in the first post about this I am not sure how I feel about the drop rate of supplies, catalysts and avvie items?

With only 14 Named battles, it's really hard to establish accurate odds from just that. But 2/14 is ~1:7 odds. While that obviously is worse than the expected average, you're basically only 1 item off from being completely within expectations.
As for Mystery Catalysts, they still exist from the zone. They can drop off Named and be found in both Ancient Treasure Chests and Pumpkins. They can also still drop from random Sylesti battles. I also reduced the Daily requires from 8 to 7 so that players can choose to skip any one of the 8 Daily tasks and still receive the free daily Catalyst - this was a direct response to those who had a hard time encountering a Themed each day.
Also keep in mind, once Leaderboard contests get going, you will be getting lots of rewards from those pouches as well.
The main goal right now is to try and drive players to spend Tokens on Brewing Supplies (or things like Haunted House, which in turn yields Brewing Supplies, but just randomly instead of selectively).
And again, I know these numbers and balances are not perfect. There were a ton of changes across the board with who drops what, how much, how frequently, etc. I actually turned up the drop of Tokens comparatively to previous Festivals, while other stuff went down.
Overall, my long term goal is to try and shift Sylestia more towards "Get in and get out" rewards; such as the Daily Avatar Item Bonus. While I am severely limited with what I can do in regards to the Exploration Zone for a multitude of reasons - the Maws of Madness will be something a bit more in line with what I'm wanting to do moving forward.
With only a single day of data, there really isn't anything that I can feasibly adjust at this point. It's going to take a week or so before I can feel confident in making any changes.
Excuse my crudely drawn graphs (I can't even remember the last time I graphed something... at least 10+ years ago lol), but this is the idea:

oh, you have to wait until a round begins and then you just need to either nurture kelpari egglings/hatchlings or have at least one kelpari on your team when you fight in the fall fest zone (you get 1 point per enemy per pet in your party, so fighting with 1 kelp in your party against 3 enemies would get you 3 kelp points etc.) (or both, nothing to say you can't do both)

Thanks for explaining things a bit Krin, I greatly appreciate it! I do understand it is pretty early to be able to get a handle on things till more data comes in. I do like the idea of shifting towards a more "get in, get out" type of play (for all those people who work/go to school or life in general).
I did notice the increase of coins, but I am wondering if it is enough to offset the decrease of supplies/catalysts/avvies items. I usually set aside quite a bit of gold to get fest currency to use for all of the above, but the cost of the fest coins is quite high right now.
Don't get me wrong, I am having fun making a run of the zone and also trick or treating (Haunted House hasn't been too nice to me! LOL!). I look forward to seeing how things advance as the fest does! :)

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet. In the ToT page, above the candy icons, is this text: "Collect 1 of each candy listed above in order to create a [Handful of Candy]." The word "above" should be "below" as the text itself is above the candy.
