The short woman; hardly reaching 4'10 winced at the beginning to heal wounds littering the porcelain colored skin she possessed, as she kneeled down before the grave that laid before her.
It was Fall, the season she at once loved. Now it filled her with a sense of dread. She had lost so much this Fall. She just couldn't look at the move delightful season as such any more.
The wind seemed to cackle around her; at her, reveling in the misery she felt. Her long hair flew amongst her face, her dark eyes littered with a glimmer of pain. She didn't understand why.
She didn't understand it even when the tears began to slip down her cheeks. Or when the doll that he gave her fell from her calloused hands. She just couldn't comprehend the pain she felt.
"You always said you'd fight for me... And I always said the same back to you... Now my heart yearns to hold you in my arms once again..." She mumbled, her voice shaking with each word that left the pink toned lips.
"And now we've both fought for each other." She commented soon after, though it seemed as if she was stalled. Perhaps she wished to wake up from the reality that felt like an utter nightmare to her.
"I just don't understand why I'm the only one who ended up okay..." She uttered, the hot tears streaming down her face at a rapid pace.
"Why wasn't fighting for you enough...?" She asked though the question seemed to be aimed more towards herself than towards the beloved man who couldn't answer back.
She needed to leave. She knew she couldn't torture herself with the questions anymore. She'd never get the answers she desperately hoped for.
Standing up, the wounded woman left the doll against the grave, turning her back to the engraved stone quietly. The doll was special to her. It had been a gift he gave her when they were young. It was there to comfort her. Now it was there to comfort him.
"Goodbye my dear... I'll see you again one day..."

Arein is a territorial witch, who resents human invasion into her woods. Her stag familiar attacks all invaders, unless they are individuals specifically chosen by Arein herself. She will only help another if they will help her towards her goal of eliminating human progress. Small favors may only involve cleaning trash from the woods or planting trees, but larger favors involve such tasks as freeing animals from captivity, buying land to keep it wild, or even the destruction of a city.

The demon stands before you, eyes glistening under the strange lighting. She wear a genuine smile at odds with the evil you can see in her posture. All the same, you know she isnt there to harm you. For a second, you think shell protect you. Then a tall, dark form rises from behind her, and you can see the genuine smile was only at the thought of feasting on human flesh the next night.

You and your companions trek farther into the cave, finally reaching the last chamber. There is an odd glow coming from a series of runes in the center of the chamber. Before either you or any of your companions can move a soft chittering noise flutters around the room, bouncing off the walls. The sound is familiar and it spells only disaster. With a thunderous sound a monster that is part Drow and part spider lands on the ground in front of you.
"I told you I'd be back, I'll always be back," It says with a slight smirk in its voice.
The fight with the thing was intense and almost cost the life of one of your party members, but you know that it was dead. For now. You have the feeling that you'll see it again.
This is the reoccurring boss in my current D&D campaign and it really creeps everyone out. So far we've fought it three times. During the third fight it managed to knock the entire party out.

She's always been there, even when you couldn't see her. She will always be here, even if you feel alone.
More importantly, she's here now. Sword to fight, shield to defend, she arrives to protect you.
She is your guardian angel, and she's not going anywhere.
(halloween costume themed, to keep all the demons away ;w;)

Luna Shadowwalker
A dark sorceress collected sunlight and turned it into shadows to increase her powers.
with this dark strength she turned creatures into monsters to do her bidding.
"Heed my wrath!" she called, as she stole the sun itself to become her cloak and
again rise in strength. Creatures of the day beware, for Luna Shadowwalker may be near!

Once a young girl from a tiny village of beastmen, her home was invaded by humans. She knew not what happened to her family, only that the people who captured her were offering her up to a demonic being in sacrifice. However, once the demon saw the scared child he was being offered, he instead chose to take her alive to his home and transform her into a demon herself so that the child might grow to serve him.
No more does she remember her name nor her past. Now she is but a loyal servant of her master, haunting dark forests and other places where foolish youths come to perform tests of courage in the late October nights. She lures them into her trap, then captures their souls for her master.
This has gone on for over a century, and will continue for centuries more. Her will belongs to him, and she can never break free...

Around the girl autumn leaves blow, twisting in and turning in the chilly air. She smiled, skipping along the darkening path as night came. She twirled the maple staff, trailing it on the ground. Behind her autumn seemed to follow, the air becoming chill and the scent of forest leaves following her. Beneath her feet a warm glow follows, trailing the path of autumn through the mountainside.
