whew I finished that was a daunting task to say the least. I never have revived a paper card valentine I always get chocolate and a plush. I don't know how to make chocolate unfortunately. So I decided to make a plush so it was like the valentines I get. I was inspired to have it hold the note when I talked to my dad about carrier pigeons and when I saw a task mission thing that said deliver mail aka valentines. I chose Anitsa to be the pet because she is my favorite. The time gap between pictures is because we went on vacation.

I made candles <3
First I got a plastic heart some wax and a cutout of my boy Tyrone


Melted down the wax put a hole in the plastic heart and put the wick in there (I also taped Tyrone in the top)
In case you didn't know it takes FOREVER to melt down wax


Got a little messy when pouring the wax in there but it worked out :D

Cut out some more of my sylesties <3


Here's all of them (forgot to put a wick in one oops)


Put them in a clear dish of water (sorry its blurry) (and picked some flowers from my front yard)


Then I lit them up >:3

using as a basis the love-pair puff we did, which, in turn, was based off of my sister's first dog, who was a Valentines baby (Merry was,,, Good Girl.)



sometimes it feels like this is what we artists see when we look at our own finished works


draw thousands of hairs? why not.


puffadore basis has Flower Petals, so we had to Make some for ourself, evidently




fun things to do with tape. Make cards with some neat Pop effect, and also if you put something in a spot and don't like it you can always move it! It took some shifting to get things right.

Since it didn't seem finished, the evident conclusion was to draw another heart plushie and then also draw a whole bunch of small petals to add.


A couple of them for the inside too!

(why are the last lot taken outside? because the lighting in my room is kind of bad for decent photos really, especially when it's not midday/early afternoon, and also, my scanner is broken so that was right out.)

Be My Noodle Box

OK, just a little valentines this year, had limited supplies and time. Been happy to finally do my Noodle themed valentines XD wanted to do one for a while.
Also came into some technical difficulty with my art piece, it was supposed to be like a locking ribbon, sadly the lock ripped off so had to.. er go with the flow XD, enjoy!

1.
Started with my supplies, chocolate, empty heart box and art supplies
2.
Then melted chocolate and poured in mould
3.
Then I started with my art supplies, water colour paper and my manga pens, wish these were copic, sadly I only have fabril but they blend nice.
4.
Exacto cutting! Gluing and shaping my messages, yes all noodle puns hehe.
5.
Popped out chocolate and carved in candy heart sayings, yes I have all 10! Hard to photograph though.
6. Final product! Three photos, closed box, opened noodle and inside of box XD

it looks super pretty! just suprised me when they turned out to be candles lol i thought you were just burning sylestis for a second

Here is my Week of Love Sylestia Valentine entry~


The ingredients are gathered~



It's a pancake heart!



Came out not too bad. It was fun shaping the pancake into a heart. Sadly, the XOXO got a little mangled.



I even had apricot jam for the right colour of heart and blueberries for the letters, effectively making it the same colours as it's Sylestia digital candy heart counterpart. Oh, and it was delicious! XD
