"You got it, boss," Odessa clenched her fists tighter, feeling the shift in the wind. As her hair flew around her face, the tips grew white, throwing her head back to call forth a torrent of rain. One swift hand movement, and thinner clouds swirled around the scene, enveloping them all in a deep fog, as she had asked.
Odessa's knees buckled, and she leaned against a building to steady herself, drawing her hood over her head. Breathing. Her extremities shook, but slightly, and she felt herself regaining stretch with each breath. She could go on.

Rei
(Plaza)

Thanks to the fog, it was harder for Rei to be seen. The vines were already beginning to cover her up enough that she might escape unnoticed, but the fog was the perfect touch to help Rei completely disappear.

"Sorry DeHaro, not this time...Silence is coming...are you prepared?" Her cackle could be vividly heard until she made her escape, the fog masking the last of her as she bounded off. For added measure, she shot a few vines after DeHaro and Miko to distract them, but not strong enough to cause much damage.

Despite her naturally brooding, and cold seeming personality, she knew each of her members as well as their strengths and weaknesses. She knew that Odessa was going to need some help, so off she went.
"Odessa, tell me your location, stat." she demanded quietly, hoping she wasn't loud enough to give her nearby presence away to the detectives and police.

Mel || Plaza

Because her power required her to pick up on sound waves, Mel thought she heard the sound of Rei. She looked around, there from the fog. That was where the rest of the officers had gone, wasn't it. She followed silently making it seem like she was just doing a causal round around the streets.

Miko
(Plaza)
"Aaaand there she goes again." Miko lowered her gun. "Talk about a streak of bad luck."

DeHaro
(Plaza)
He sighed, re-holstering his gun. No point in trying to shoot in the rain. The thought of it made his stomach turn enough. He looked back down at the ground, giving a half shrug down to Harvard before swearing under his breath. There was someone approaching behind Harvard, but the fog made it too hard to identify who.

Mikal watched as Rei covered herself in vines.Then kept heading towards the palce of energy dispurgance. Because..y'know, he didn't want her to go after him for not doing his job.


Lunara just stayed to the side, watching.

Kiyo, not wanting to waste anymore time as Mikal showed up, lit a cigarette behind a cupped hand, managing to form enough of a crowbar to knock the floating orb of condensed energy to the ground near Harvard.
The rain made it too difficult to mantain his powers as the bar fizzled out before he could knock Harvard out.

"Treeman, I hope that bark of yours can withstand this. Grab it and make a run for it. I will cover you."

Valia Allendrik

And now it was raining, great, just what Valia neaded. On top of that she coudn't see a thing due to the fog, realy her day was slowly getting worst. She stept out of her hiding spot while muttering about how it was a perfect time for kelpie tho she was half considering it for real, sure the carnivorous water horse was a bit too food motivated at time but they were able to see alot better in this type of conditions.

"Near the coffee shop," she whispered to Rei, blinking her eyes through the fog. "I...I might be okay...." Odessa did NOT want to be the one to pass out or become vulnerable in any way. How entirely embarrassing. Besides - her hair was fine, and this was just a little rain, some fog, no biggie. A pounding in her head began, and she sighed, aware that she was only lying to herself.

Liam Murphy

With a small yelp, Liam dipped into the nearest doorway as the rain poured down. "Ah...not again!" Distraught, he emptied the contents of his bag onto a table, papers of all sorts soaked and illegible. All of his drawings ruined. With a little bit of resentment, he held a notebook up, dripping with rainwater.

"Cna't run as a tree." Mikal rolled his eyes but grabbed the thing and ran off towards the park-area-place. Where he couodl go into tree form and look normal.

Rei

She caught sight of Odessa, quickly moving closer.
"Well done. Let's get you out of here."
She slung Odessa's arm over her shoulder, allowing her stormy inferior to lean all her weight on Rei.

"You did well." she said somewhat proudly, helping to carry off Odessa to some place a bit safer.
