The human glances at you, her green eyes flashing as your glow reflects. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to annoy you." She says quietly, thinking that Vaga was growling at her. A fuzzy white tail wrapped around one of her legs. It seemed the more nervous she got, the further she turned into her animal.
There was a hiss from your right and your left side, and a moment later the two torches in the entry way burned to life, illuminating the place before you.

The right path - Dark and giving off an odor
The left path - Dark and yet faintly glowing.
Stay were you are - Something might happen. Something might not. Looks like a regular creepy room.

Vagabond took the left path, beckoning to the shifter. They seemed pretty nice.

"Maybe i'll actually have a friend.."

The shifter follows you, seeming harmless and friendly enough.

The light increases the further you go down the path. A hum sounds above your head. The shifter acts faster, shoving you out of the way as a stinger jabbed down at the place you had just been. Above your heads is a big, armored, and angry wasp. It dislodges its stinger and tries to go after you again.
The shifter hisses at it, seeming to want to protect you, but also scared out of its mind. Two fluffy ears popped up on her head, and soon the shifter is a fluffy white persian cat. The cat-shifter gives a startled and slightly paniced meow.

Vagabond acted fast, drilling his claws into the wasp. He would try to protect, but he still wasn't good at it.

A black liquid seeps from the wounds you have just given the wasp. The wasp hums in anger again, throwing you off and aiming its stinger again. The white cat pounces on the wasp's head, pawing at the wasp's big multi-eyed eyes. The wasp shakes its head, and the shifter goes flying, hitting a wall. The shifter stills, knocked out cold.

Vagabond claws the wasp right in the thorax, and dodges its attacks. After that, he goes to check on the shifter.

The wasp hums again, deciding with itself that fighting you isn't going to end in anything other than agony if it attacks you by itself. It flies upwards, and seems to just disappear.
The shifter is knocked out. The best thing that could happen is she'll only get a bruise. The worst is that she completely forgets who she is, who you are, and where they are, which could only end in disaster.
The shifter's tail twitches, letting you know that it was still alive.

Vagabond picks the shifter up, hoping to help her. He was ecstatic that he finally had a friend.

"Finally, change.."

'Or you can leave the small thing. It'll probably be really clingy and get in your way. It would make a nice sacrifice though...' Something says. The voice seems to be coming from everywhere all at once, as with most noises in the Labyrinth. There is a swirl of dust behind you, and the enterence/exit is cut off as a wall appears there. The shifter is surprisingly light as it is a small cat currently.

Vagabond don't care, so he purges on. He believed he could get out!
