The scene was horrible for a archangel let alone a human james was on the ground as paramedics tried desperately to receive him but it was too late and only a few feet away was georgia being restrained by two polite officers as she tried desperately to reach him shw was crying her heart out "James!! Please wake up!" She screamed

Es had seen this and many unfortunately similar scenes before, but so openly?
They were absolutely mad.
"She's innocent." Es stepped closer to the police, deciding to leave the paramedics to their work, figuring that his own magic would be just as ineffective.
"I saw the woman that did it, she's just inside.. I believe her name was Nicole. Er, brown hair.. about 5'7".. S-Sorry if it's not more helpful."

The police officer nodded and walked ove rto the cafe with two collages when suddenly the cafe exploded sending them all flying from the force. Unknown to eveyone Lucifer and Nyx had left seconds after es walked putout and Lucifer cased the cafe to explode through faulty electrics eveyone who was in the cafe or sat outside was killed including the man who owned the puppy.

As soon as the explosion happened people panicked and ran away scared of their own lives the only ones who wasn't panicking was the paramedics who was taking james body away and the police who was trying to get eveyone to safety.

Es had shielded himself with a barrier of light as the explosion went off, still being thrown back as it shattered in front of him.
He took a second to get back up to his feet, cradling a now-bruised wing under his jacket as he helped Georgia back to her feet, inspecting her for any serious wounds from the nearby blast.

A tall police officer walked over towards them "sir, miss please unless you can give a statement or are a witness please go home were it is safe" he said and georgia nodded "and james....the guy in the hit and run?" She asled and the officer frowned "im afraid he didn't make it miss, im sorry" he said and she tears up. A female police officer came over holding the german shepherd puppy "allex please take the witness to mr Richardson accident to the station and this guy to the shelter, he has no one else" she said and georgia glaced over "may i have the poppy?, save trying to find him a home" she asked as the male officer took Georgia and the puppy towards a police car

Es gave Georgia a look that said he knew more than he was letting on. He looked as remorseful as he could manage, but he knew James was far from death and the truth of the matter was already threatening to escape his mouth. He wasn't sure exactly if this was a matter he could trust the police with and it appeared open and shut enough he was sure they wouldn't let him take it on personally. Officially, anyways..
"Do you two need a ride home or do you intend to go off to the station to submit a report?"

A female police officer who had ash blonde hair and hazel brown eyes walked over him and smiled at the girl "are you this woman's husband or partner?" She asked and smiled, she was the officer who manged to save the puppy and the one who would take Georgia home.

"Er.. N-no. Just a concerned friend, sorry.
If you think it's best, Georgia, it wouldn't be right for me to stop you.. Have a good night." He gave her a wave and backed off from the police car.

'And so you just leave her to suffer, not knowing the truth?' Yin laughed in his head, taunting him. 'That's not very angelic of you.'

'Yino, please. She's human. She wouldn't understand and it wouldn't be right for me to drag her into all of this. It'd ruin her life.'
