Okay so I was trying to sculp a mork with mystic witch traits. However, it came out looking more like a spider mork. New gene ideas? XD

*rubs hands together* Haven't carved a pumpkin in years and nothing remotely as ambitious. Super last minute too.

Step 1, retrieve the giant pumpkin that's been sitting in the garage for the last month

I'm using my submission for the digital pumpkin contest to save some time making a new template

Started getting the basic shape down. I wasn't super how it was going to look lit up though

I didn't think my light source was strong enough to get any "shading" to show up and it was getting close to midnight. Due to time constraints and concerns about how it would show up, I also cut down on the details.

Found a lightbulb to stick into the pumpkin \o/ All in all, I'm super pleased with how it turned out ^^ (Sorry, I left my username out of the last photo)

I ended up having to use an apple this year. This is supposed to be a ladybug lunemara visiting a flower. At the end I stuck some of the peels back on for spots so if that's not allowed please just disregard it. Also for anyone wondering the cheerio boxes in the background were a protective barrier against curious cats.

trying to carve an apple with a skewer... not easy. I wish I knew where my actual tools for carving things were.

Yep so I accidentally ate my last apple before I could carve it. The only fruits/vegetables left in my house were raspberries, broccoli, and a single sweet potato. I therefore present:


1. Raw materials!
2. You can probably see where I'm going with this...


3. Remember those times when you start writing a sign or name card, and then you realise you might not have enough space? Needed to quickly outline the rest of the letters!
