I follow the others, my fur catching the sinking suns last few rays. My fur seems to be on fire, with the light leaping and dancing across my fur

She was sulking in her bed sadly her bag turned away from the others

when i enter the house i spot maple with her bag between us and her, pouting. "what's wrong, maple?" i ask, sitting on the bed next to her. Alex is nowhere to be seen, she's probably out doing something to prepare for the attack tonight.

Maple stayed silent before lying"yep"

i give her an odd look, before shrugging. if she doesn't want to tell me what's wrong, i won't make her, clearly it's none of my business. "we're going to need some darker clothes, i'm going to raid Alex's closet for some" i tell her, heading for the closet. she probably wont mind.

thumbing through the rack of clothes, looking for something that might fit me. she's around the same size as me, but where her chest is flat, mine is less so, and i don't want to stretch out her shirts. i'm already uh, borrowing her clothes, i don't want to ruin them. in the end i settle on the only black clothing i can find that will fit me, heading to the bathroom to change. it's not exactly my style, but i don't look bad so i'll take it. heck, with a pair of dark sunglasses, i might actually look kind of cool.

She grabbed some clothes and got dressed silently looking at the ground

"so, i guess we just wait for someone to come get us" i say, awkwardly. growing impatient i begin to pace around the room, a tight bundle of nerves. everything could go wrong, we could lose everything. i can't let that happen.

I sat still as Sam ran a brush through my fur, I rumbled happily as he finished

(Sam)
I finish brushing Caras fur and get into a change of clothes, a comfy but formalish black shirt and black jeans

"what do you think you're going to do after this?" i ask, flopping on the chair next to the bed. i bang my head on the wall behind me, wincing a bit and rubbing my head.
