Nikkie sighs furiously as Madex accuses and verbally attacks him. "I'm sorry, I didn't think I had to know everyone. It's not my role to keep track of the guards; its the commander of the guards'. He could have told me if he thought a guard's disappearance was significant. Also, I wasn't always in power during the time the undead kingdom has attacked. My parents were in charge before I was, so perhaps this guard you're talking about went away during that time." Nikkie frowns as he scans the paragraph. "Childhood? There was a guard that was a child? That can't be right. There's a rule about the age."

Ryu laughs as she reads the entry, "Hey, sounds like she's a bit like me. I don't really want to be a guard, though I stick with it, and I've got lots of training to attend as well." She pauses and looks to Darkly, afraid she had said something wrong, "Sorry."

Darkly rests her arm on Ryus shoulder "its okay"

"Madex" Arwen warns

"she must have been old enough" she snapped at him "im going to go find them and make an agreement if you want to be a bad king go ahead" she said putting the book away and walking outside "im trying to actually save this place" she growled as she whistled for her animal "im done with these idiots lets go"

Ruby and mya sat in the cave gossiping away and such "they will be looking for us soon so maybe we should lay low then return or build our kingdom here"

"I'm so sorry Nikkie" Arwen says "I don't know what's wrong with her"

She followed the burnt town and such till she got to the middle of nowhere seeing its getting dark "left or right?" she asked herself going left

Ryu grins at Darkly, shrugging her shoulders slighty. She didn't mind Darkly's arm on her shoulder, the shrugging of shoulders was simply a habit Ryu had when acknowledging what someone said.

"Wait, let me go with you; please!" Khaalida asks Madex as the young princess dashed off. She sighs and races after Madex, knowing she couldn't let the princess be alone and she couldn't let the princess make an agreement on her own. There was a lot at stake and who knew what she would turn over and for what. There were all sorts of things that could happen. Also, she was wondering why Madex would want to save the place, which was the undead kingdom's. On top of all that, she didn't want Madex to get hurt. The small failure to alert her spirit animal, something that drove others to believe she didn't have one, manifested itself again when she didn't call for her spirit animal to help reach Madex.

Nikkie watches Madex leave, for a second burning with rage that she would call him an idiot and a bad king. Then the anger faded, leaving him with a crushing sense of defeat. Nikkie leans against the wall, tapping his forehead on his forearm a few times before he sighed and stopped. Nikkie waves a hand in a way that meant that all is forgiven, "She's right, though, I'm a bad king. It's not like I've helped the situation." He hadn't ever felt ready to be king and the sudden stabbing statement that he wasn't doing well enough got to him. He stops his train of thought, bottles his feelings, and gathers himself as he prepares himself for... whatever the world called him to do next.
"Now is not the time to feel sorry for myself. There's never time for that." Nikkie gives a tight laugh and pushes off the wall. "Do you want to head after your daughter?"

Lilura was sitting next to the opening of the cave, watching the outside world. Gahiji perched neatly on a branch of a tree nearby, preening himself and giving Lilura occasional haughty glances that smugly alerted her to the fact that she was stuck with the talkative humans while he was free to fly wherever he pleased.

she heard khaalida but knew she would catch up "finally some alone time" she sighed with relief looking ahead she couldnt wait for the adventure that awaited.... of course it was going to be dangerous but dangerous is her middle name! she thought at first but its really not, she layed her head on the fur of her fluffy partner before drifting off to sleep as they walked and night began to set..

Ruby went out side and sat next to her friend with a nice cup of hot cocoa "how are you feeling?" she asked leaning her head on Lilura's shoulder sleepily and without thinking, Feechi was more up the road watching for any sign of the kingdoms

Mya took her place next to ruby looking outside wrapped up in a blanket "it might get cold i have blankets inside" she smiled as her snake curled around everyone her big body making everyone seem small laying its head on the top of its body, her scales felt wet a little but it was just some water that rested on her from earlier

Khaalida was trying her best to catch up. Her spirit animal, am arctic seal, was most definitely not a land animal, very clumsy when anywhere but in the water. She was the same, tripping and stumbling over her feet every few seconds. She was lucky if she went a mile and a quarter in an hour. Ah well. She'd catch up eventually... She got to the crossroads and inwardly groaned. Which way? She sighs and hesitates before deciding that she would have to choose now whether to continue or back down. Reluctantly, Khaalida decided to head back for the night. She'd find Madex eventually.

"I'm feeling a tiny bit cold, my fingers are numb from working on the leather today, but glad I'm with you again." Lilura says with a smile, resting her head on Ruby's in return. She slips her arm around Ruby as she enjoys her friends company. Lilura didn't like the wet, since the wet made her cooler and being wet was something she wasn't used to and didn't enjoy. However, the snake was warm, and so Lilura wasn't complaining. "Thank you, Mya." Lilura gives a soft smile to their gracious host. It would take Lilura a while to fall asleep; her mind didn't like turning itself off.

Ruby managed to fall asleep fast this time, surprising for her since that never happens
