Ian nods. He gets himself some chocolate and gets Nick an apple. That's all he seemed to be eating lately, so that's why he got it for him. He returns to Nick's cabin, handing the apple to Caspian before leaving

Indigo landed on the roof of the mess hall, which made a dull thump as he touched down. His wings furled back in, fading to invisibility.

Nick's mind is racing, and he tries to calm it down, but nothing seems to be working. He couldn't help but think that it was all his fault that his brother got murdered if that was even the case
