You kept on going. The sand was warming up as the sun rose, hurting your eyes again. Well, at least it wasn't gone forever again. Nothing interesting was happening, tumbleweed blowing across the sands.
I looked around for signs of other animals.

"It's fine. You can stay if you want" She said softening her tone.

The female animal which I've forgotten ran off to find her herd. You flew up and it was getting dark, you were getting thirsty from the heat. You could see cacti in one way and a mesa in another.

No animals were in the area, but you could see tracks layering the floor. They were wedged hoof tracks.

Lyra fly's to the mesa not thinking the slimy insides of the cacti would do her thurst much good

"It's fine. It will be fun having a neighbor." She smiled and looked around. "I live on that side of the island, so you can live on this side." She pointed to the place you were before.
