Your <pet> ran up to you, wanting to play. You have your water bottle and 3 days worth of food in your backpack. Your father woke up and stood up, going into the backroom to shave with a sigh. He was partially made out of sand.
(I have a pet?)
I stroke the pet, and then get ready to go. "HI dad." was all I said as I waited for him to get out.
He soon walked out, looking upset, "Morning, boy" he said in a monotonous manor, giving you a dull look.
(small... think a raccoon would work?)
I bow my head in greeting, and then walk around him. "Morning. What's up? How's it going. Going to work today?" I ask the usual questions.

Jaxith sneezes away as one of Cherub's feathers tickles his nose. He shoes him off of his face and goes to eat breakfast. He eats some leftover soup which he warms over the fire and is quite filling. he then gets to work on trying to fix up the two subpar bows to be more usable, and therefore sellable.
They really, really wanted just bacon, sugar, ketchup and fries. But she was insistent, and soon they were forced. The movie they were watching was essentially a hero fighting a villain with sand powers..
I watch, sand is fun. Messy, but fun. I realize how many ideas the boys could get from watching this and prepare myself to be covered in sand soon.

The man didn't even look at you, they kept on working. You weren't bound too tight, but it was a struggle to get the rope off of your hands and you got some burn, but nothing serious.
I get to slackening the rope around my legs, enough so that I can bust out quickly but not enough that it looks untied in case he turns around. If it looks like he's about to turn I'll put my hands behind the back of the chair as if they are still tied and go slack.

He still hadn't looked at you, and you found yourself free.

((Good choice!))
He replied with the same answers as every time you asked, "The sky is up. I have to go to work."

Cherub tried multiple times to jump onto your lap, and failed, before giving up and exploring elsewhere. The bows took a few hours to fix, but soon they were high quality, although only one was perfect. The other one could not be made perfect.
