"Death," was all he said as he placed the last highlighter down "It's a little unstable though..."

"So, you just point it at someone and they die?"

"If it was that simple the whole school would already be dead. It slowly drains the energy from the thing it stabbes and gives the energy to the owner. If you take to much energy they die," He held up the black highlighter and it shifted into a sword with a blackish blade, it had the black runes and black handle.

"And what do you mean by unstable?"

"I..." He leaned over, groaning in pain before straightening out again, his eyes pure black "Hello my friend. Hope you don't mind dieing," he lunged before he regained control and the sword turned back into a highlighter "Now you see why?"

Alex blinked, unfazed. "Well, you could go on a killing spree and that might be interesting."

"Not if I accidently kill you," He said, not in a "I will kill you, I the best", more like a "I just don't want that to happen" tone "Plus it can be unpredictable."

He shrugged. "I can defend myself. Where'd you get them from? I'm guessing not the dollar store?"

"Well we bought the highlighters from the dollar store. But my dad enchanted them," The last sentence pained him and he blinked away tears "I also have a bow.... or is it called a quiver," He stops to think to himself of what it is called.

Alex frowned. "I mean, is it the one that you shoot or the one that holds the arrows?"
