the pup wagged his tail and let out an earth shattering bark many of the wolves falling to their faces to cover their ears

"hmm..... oh he's still here I guess If you want to say that.." he said with a yawn

I looked at him strangely

Emerie screamed and shut her ears. After it was over she uncovered her ears and looked down at the little pup. "I-I-I don't t-think I can f-fix this... Just don't bark and it should be fine?"

All the other wolves seemed to turn and glare at the little pup who looked up to you as you spoke " B-But that means t-that Ni-san can't l-let me stay....." he said quivering a bit as if he was frightened

The only tunnel that lead away from the voices seemed to take you up to the higher part of the cavern There the walls became more porous letting in The light of the rising sun, and you could see an exit that split off up ahead as you made your way further up. One path leading Higher up, the other leading outside.

as you reached the split you could hear the voices echo off the walls of the cavern as whoever was down where you were before whispered.

Sloth still seemed out of it, his body and voice trembling as he spoke " I'm scared..."

I lead him towards the outside path. Hopefully once we were outside we could go to a farther side of the island or something. I look over at Sloth when he speaks and gently squeeze his hand "I know but I'll get you out of here. i promise I won't leave your side"

Emerie thought about it for a second, "You can come with me?" She offered kindly, "I'm sure Pride wouldn't mind." She turned to the big wolf, "If we take him in can we be allowed on your territory though?" She asked politely, "We wont bother you. We would just like to come up here to enjoy the scenery or take a stroll" She said as she put on her most innocent smile.

He tilts his head as he tries to decipher your strange look " What?..... "

"Ah...never mind." I shook my head. "So, where is this place? Is it near my village?"
