It was another man, and they walked over to the desk, sitting down in the chair beside you, facing Verius.
"Ah, Verius. Is this who you've found to help with the murders, then?" He addressed Verius, and was talking about you.
"Indeed, M." Verius nodded, then looked at you. "You're ready, are you?"
M? Micah thought while turning back to face Verius, What an odd name, or is it code? He broke out of his thoughts to respond. "Uh, yeah. I think so. But isn't there a girl coming to help me first?"

"Be patient, Micah." Verius clicked his tongue at you, and M nodded. "You're going by yourself as for now. She'll be here sooner or later, in her own pace."
"Of course, with her own group of people." M added.
Okay good. I first ate some porridge and drank some water. Then I opened every container in the room to figure out what was in the room. After looking through the things I found, I lied on the bed.

You found a small pen knife which was sharp enough to do some things, but not sharp enough to stab or hurt anyone. Also, there was two apples, which you took.
You lay on the bed, and nothing happened.

Cool. I attempted to go back into the bathroom so I could wash one of the apples and eat it. After doing so, I took the hair dryer in the bathroom and dried my hair. <---When you have OCD and just have to dry the hair

You dry your hair, and it becomes super messy, like it is usually. The apple tasted sweet and fresh.

Ugh. Fine. I should've cut my hair shorter. I finished eating the apple and washed my hands before trying to find a comb or something that can make my hair look like hair instead of a bird nest.

There was a comb on a wood dresser at the other end of the room.

The water was clean, and was in a mug, as if for drinking. You manage to very messily wrap Diana up with the bandages, but you didn't have enough medical experience to use bandages. Beside the bandages, there were a pack of band-aids. These, you knew how to use. However, the bandages were small and probably wouldn't cover up Diana's wound. Beyond the bandaids lay some disinfectant and some cotton swabs, all on top of a neatly folded towel.
April gulped, "no, no no" she whispered, grabbing the disinfectant and fumbling with it, trying to put it on the wound to spread with the cotton swabs before padding the wound with the towel, pressing it against the wound. She gulped, scared. She bit the edge of the mouth until it bled, not caring but finding comfort within the pain.

You managed to crudely disinfect the wounds with a swab. Diana twitched and made a tiny whining sound, probably because rubbing disinfectant directly into a wound hurts a lot. She then fell limp once again. You suddenly notice something on the table that didn't seem to be there before.
You'll be safe upstairs, and so will your friend.
A small slip of paper was propped up against the glass of water.
