Well if you're providing the dyes that would pretty much change everything. :)
Under that situation I would keep the breedable pair, but you'd be welcome to however many infertile offspring you want for absolutely free; the only cost to you would be the initial dyes. Male and female, a team of 3, set of 5, a dozen, pretty much however many you want. It would take a little time to churn them out, of course, but I'm pretty much on daily at least to check in on things. At minimum it would take 8 dyes each for a total of 16, but I will warn you that lesser dyes aren't always the nicest, especially for trying to get 000000 or FFFFFF for the results.The results will likely be skewed so it may take some extra dyes for corrections.
Of course, if you'd rather just have the one then an offspring to dye yourself would be more practical. :)
And sorry if I'm going out on too many tangents; when it comes to newer players I want to make sure they have a full grasp of everything. Not everyone has had the chance to learn how horrible lesser dyes can be and I've come across plenty of players who don't fully pick up on the terminology like "infertile" and such.
Good example on the dyes? I've gone for RED and the results came out GREEN. Repeatedly. Wasting about a dozen dyes before I ragequit the entire project. Lesson learned.

Woah, I think I may just have an offspring for now, but Id love to give you the dyes for it sometime soon :0 And thank you for explaining things too, you've given me the most information so far XD Im also planning on using greater dyes for it, with the example youve given a bit more certainty would be best lol

^^ You're welcome! And if there's anything else you find yourself confused about or unsure of, I'd be happy to help explain things!
So for the offspring, two questions.
1) Male or female?
2) Set for gold or set for diamonds? (Diamonds will require use of the currency exchange; I'll set 1 gold up for sale at 100 diamonds, and you "buy" the gold. Confusing at first, but the most important thing to remember is to always set the 1 gold for the sale. Putting 100 diamonds up for sale at 1 gold could be snagged by anyone since hey, free diamonds.)

Thanks for the reminder! The past few days have been very sad and chaotic so I haven't had much time for keeping up with Sylestia. My grandfather who was basically the heart of the family died, so it was spend time with family one day, funeral visitation the next, and the burial was just yesterday. I've only been home to sleep and shower up til last night. @__@
But I digress. Here're the pets, and sorry for the delay ^^;
