There was a comb on a wood dresser at the other end of the room.
Okay cool. Now lemme make my way to the other end of the room without slipping or anything, since, u know, bathrooms. After doing so, I reached for the comb to make my hiar look presentable.

You weren't in the bathroom anymore, let narrator remind you that you were in your room. You made your way across the room easily, because wood floor was awesome. Anyways, you managed to try to comb your hair but failed, because your hair is always super messy and especially irl.

Oh oops. Lost track of location. I wasn't pleased by the fact that combs on this planet doesn't work. I combed my hair randomly with my fingers. After doing so, I kept my comb and anything else I could find in that room.

There was nothing else of interest in the room. The room consisted of you, a bed, a dresser, a rug, a bookshelf full of books, and a window.

Boooooooks!!! I pulled out a random book, sat on the bed, tried to ignore my hair, blinked, breathed, blinked again, breathed again, bit my lips, and started reading, hoping to get some sort of useful info. (Added random stuff for your 3-line rule)

You were illiterate lol so you couldn't read the books. Translation: They were not in english.

Ouch. That was sad. Enraged, I ripped the pages and threw random books around. After doing so, I ran out of the room in despair. I kept running as fast as I could to keep some distance between that house of yours and I.

The books were bound well and weren't so easily rip-able. You ran out of the room in despair, yes, but you were in the second floor, so you had no idea how to get down to the first floor, so you were not leaving any time soon.

"THE BLACK PLAGUE WAS SPREAD TO THE AMUUURICAS BY SLAVE TRADE AND WAS CURED BY POTATOES", I yelled randomly. I ran into the room, stuffed the books into the bookshelf randomly, and ran out of the room. I looked around and tried to figure out a way to go downstairs.

The house's owner was apparently not letting you go downstairs because you couldn't find the stairs. Possibly it was because they were super annoyed with you.
