Derek rubbed his neck at the compliment on his smile, suddenly feeling awkward for no apparent reason. He glanced away and changed the subject. "I hope Raph doesn't get any nightmares tonight. You know how he gets if he isn't eased down into a new environment," he said instead. "Or that I don't have to pull boys out of girls rooms."

Raph started eating his food, but only after sitting on his notebook so it wouldn't get soiled or stolen. He heaved a sigh as he looked around for a familiar face. He didn't even know who he was to share a room with yet. He took a drink of his water, feeling his nerves were on edge.

Austin sat on the far end of one of the long tables, picking at her food with a fork. Of course she would be alone. Why had she expected anything different? She rested her head on her hand, a sour expression on her face. These girls were too...preppy.

"That was my only concern with him being here. Keep an eye on him for me? I don't want him miserable while he's here." Harlin asked, glancing at Denali coming into the Dining Hall. She seemed to be the oddest out of the girls, but to each their own is what he liked to think.
Harlin felt a buzz in his pocket, and flipped open a phone to find a message from the boy's head agent. He scanned through it, and raised an eyebrow slightly, but otherwise made no expression as he flipped it shut.
"I'll have to eat later. Haha, what timing huh?" He laughed a bit, standing up and patted Derek on the shoulder, ignoring the fact he had to reach his hand up slightly.
"Thanks for coming with me, I felt a bit more at ease." He smiled, giving a wave before he walked out of the dining hall with a look of disappointment when he was turned around.
