Newt shrugged, pouring ointment on his hand. "GOt too close to fire. Plus I'm a water element mostly. Fire doesn't like me. And nicote usually cooks, so I have very little experience."

Nicote glanced at Newt attemtping to heal his burn. "Dude...." He shook his head and went to the fire, quickly turning the food before it burned.
Newt, having gotten the worse over with, came and rejoined them. "So...anyone feelin' the tug of this ancient power? 'Cuz I don't feel a thing and I have no idea what it looks like.."

Nicote groaned. "Not much. Probably because I went through portals, dragged several other stones with me, and got a banshee."
Newt sighed. "Geez...Serously, dude? You'll kill yourself this way. That's it, I'm taking the next two stones. Including the stone of love. ANd don't say I don't know the risk. You know you're gonna die if you take it."
