Anyhow, the story sounds very interesting and I'd live in Rescue Bots. And a joke about overpowered characters in regards to me going to Rescue Bots, but I can't remember the joke.

Oooo, I like it, although the "I learn I'm not the only one who suffers" bit seems more like he's pushing back the way he feels due to 'others having it worse', which would cause problems down the line. Was that intentional? How do you plan on developing the Arc, like what are the hurdles he's going to jump through to reach this conclusion? =>= to clarify I love the story idea, I'm more-or-less asking for spoilers lol


edit: I just realized that being here has developed the way I write SO MUCH, like- before I'd just go through and think things as I went, but now I actually create plans and give my characters depth instead of just plopping down their personality and fears and all that gibber-jabber. I think of their backstories first, since that would develop those traits into what they become in perhaps the final chapter of the story

Heh. Idk. I've discovered he's half-nightborn (aka vampire). His past is a right mess - his family (Lewin; may change idk) worked with a secret branch of said corrupt government before it got corrupt. His father backed out of a deal and that's why his family's dead and fortune is gone. So he's angry, but can't get back at those who took from him, so he takes it out on others and mostly does mercenary work and stuff like that. He meets other members of a resistance (Sera, Wren, and other characters) who convince him there's a way to bring down evil people! and idk. Honestly I don't plan *anything* out so none of this will probably happen lol. But yeah, he's a one man pity party. Think grumpy anime side protagonist, but less angst

Ehh, Kirin taught himself most of his fighting stuff. He uses a rapier-like sword. As a noble, the most useful thing he knew how to do was talk smooth. x)
Uh, kind of related, but have you read the genshin impact manga? if so, Kirin's like a mix between Kaeya and Diluc (absolute husbando). ehem. but yeah xD If you haven't, ignore that whole thing sdkjfbskjdf

I have not read that one, I mostly watch the anime rather than read the manga, although I did read the entirety of the fairy tail manga-- I was far more intrigued while reading it than watching it tbh.

I have no idea if there is a Genshin Impact anime series.
