You see nothing but a single red feather.

"Foxy?" Your mom asks. "Is that the name you gave a bird?"

The feather floats down and land son the windowsill. There's no bird or fox in sight.

You open the window and bring in the feather. It's a lovely sahde of red, though rather large.

It's almost all red but has a few marks of turning to gold near the very tips.

"Hmm. Perhaps a birds just took off in the opposite direction nand dropped a feather...though it's rather large. Probably from across the street or something." Your mom shrugs. "Well, I need to go meet up with one of the ladies, be back by around 5 or so I think your dad's brining home takeout. Help yourself to a cookie or two." She says, leaving.

I grab my bag from the ground before walking up the stairs to my room. After dumping my bag on my bed, I carefully place the feather on my desk/table/(any flat surface) and go down again to grab a cookie to eat.
