You look at the dizzying height and jump. You crash through the foliage, hitting many branches. You eventually are half way down when you land in the crook of a branch. A cold jolt of pain makes its way up your spine... maybe there is an easier way down...?

((I have a lot of conversations to keep track of, could you please quote me when you respond? (thanks)))
Even as you murmur the words, you can see the frost in the air, dissipating any sense of warmth you may have once had. Its the stinging pain of the cold that brings you back from your staring at the place.

He narrows his eyes at you, and hangs behind you and the Kelpari, watching your movement very closely. You can here him muttering to himself, clearly torn between fighting you and just watching you closely.

((Can you please quote me? it makes knowing whats going on a little easier. :)))
You arrive at the city gates and realize that it is far more menacing than it first appeared. Sirens seem to lurk in the shadows, but they don't exist, right?
The eyes that disappear right before you look at them, makes you believe otherwise.

I search the area looking for a sign of life. All I find is a note saying "I am as strong as Atlas lifting weights. I live like a fish but I have a body like a human. My hair is gray and as curly as the best slinky. I am like a mother for all horses. When I get angry I make the earth shake like a hex bug with a full battery. I wear a robe as blue as the sea. My eyes are blue and I'm as tall as the sky."

I sigh and look around to see of there is a safe way to climb down the tree.

((also, ping me if you can! :D))
When you pick up the note, it dissipates in your hand, seeming to turn to ice at a single touch, and flutter away with the wind.

As you had previously discovered, there are many branches on the way down. It may be slightly painful to make it down that way due to your... prior injuries. You could travel by tree, you notice, as the branches are thick and seem to battle for any amount of sunlight, creating a floor, if carefully stepped on. One wrong move, though, and you'll be taking a tumble.
