Xan led you out of the mansion's grounds and down the street, taking a few turns. The cobble was bumpy under your feet and nearly caused you to trip a couple of times, going that speed, but you somehow managed to keep up with him. He abruptly stopped before a building and you tried to as well, but failed and bumped into him.
I just don't want to re-explain everything that happened (which would take a paragraph or two) 'cause I have terrible writer's cramp rn. We've been taking a lot of notes, and I had to do corrections. D:
Hmm? Not sure what you mean by that stuff, but I hope you're okay :)

Micah let out an 'oomphf' as he stumbled into Xan, followed by a quick, "Sorry." How in the world does he manage it? Micah asked mentally. It was so strange and beyond average, that he would try to get Xan to teach him how at some point.

When you bumped into him, he quickly moved away, but in that split second, you could feel Xan shaking as he placed his hand on the doorknob to the building, squeezing his eyes shut. The door creaked open, and you were hit with a overpowering stench of blood and something worse.

Micah was about to ask Xan why he seemed so on edge, but his question was answered by the stench. "There are dead people in there, aren't there," he stated, "They should've been buried a long time ago." Micah stepped hesitantly towards the door. Just because blood din't make him nauseous, didn't mean it wouldn't be very grotesque or horrifying.

"Well..." Xan took a deep breath and started to explain. "Firstly, this crime was really recent, and whoever deals with corpses has to come here, but they haven't yet, although we've already contacted them. Secondly, we... can't really bury something in pieces, can we?"

Micah paused at that, "Pieces? I thought they were stabbed?" No wonder Xan was so shaken. Probably the same reason the corpse person hadn't come, wasn't used to seeing his clients all over the room. Imagining that made him wince mentally, his sense of humor was a gift and a curse simultaneously. Because that joke was not funny.

"Well, are we going inside, then?" Can stepped into the door, his doorstep causing a creak which echoed creepily through the dark space. You saw him wrinkle his nose as he entered in, and you make the assumption that it probably would smell worse as you go inside. "And... if you're wondering about the stabbing detail, they were stabbed. And then, ripped into bits and pieces."

You stood there, unsure what to do and nothing happened thus. Diana's heartbeat was slowing by the second, and she needed a healer desperately. Your best hope was that the girl didn't hit a vein essential to life or whatever.
April took in deep breathes, tearing up again. She kept trapped in a way and her hand reached around, feeling for something desperately. Anything. As long as it could help. She wished she could concentrate, but her mind was overwhelmed with panic.

Narrator suggests you go into a room, because there's nothing to see where you are now. Diana's heartbeat was even slower now, and through the panic, a deep sense of calm descended on you. There was not much time left... what was this feeling?
