She could feel her grip loosening from her emotion, but she'd hang on so long as she was in the company of others.

"Considering they had information on Joji here too, it's more than likely. We can try to figure out arrangements for you back at the station, but I gotta let Mimi and everyone else on duty know what's up before we get too wrapped up in this."
He hopped in the driver's seat, adjusting it slightly.
"Plus I don't know about you guys, but I really need some coffee. I've been up all day.. It's past midnight already.."

"..Captain. Come on, please don't do anything crazy. I mean he was strong enough to take Wes down. If you plan on taking him down, then I'm helping you. I normally don't like getting myself wrapped up in these dirty situations, but I've been itching to burn something after my earlier encounter with Mr. Allen. Let it be him. I don't plan to let his actions go unchecked or my trust to be so easily manipulated." He got up.
"Wes is down the hall. I left his body alone because I figured you would have wanted to see how bad it was."

"Yeah, I'll be sure to call you for all my juice needs." She said with a wink.

Since Mel enjoyed talking and listening to others talk she struck up a conversation with Lish. "When was the other time you used your Mark on a human?" She asked. "You could tell me this is a stupid question and I'll shut up."

" We passed crazy two knives ago." She said quietly, walking down the hall and kneeling next to Wes. Her fingers gingerly traced his wounds as if her were glass and she was afraid to break him.

"Kiyo, I want a meeting organized first thing in the morning. Tell everyone, bring their best weapons. Hatter and the Pd so set on getting in the way? Alright. Let's dance."

"Now that I can agree on. I'll have it done, don't you worry. We need to remind this city what happened the last time they messed with our family and if that poor kid's now tasked with being the example, well, then I suppose that's just life. He'll be dead by tomorrow evening."
