I finish the first cookie before grabbing another one. And another. And another, looking around for a small, clean container to put them in. Where did she put those small plastic containers again?

I place the three cookies in the container before grabbing another three and placing them inside too. Walking up the stairs again too my room, I grab my bag and go back down, dumping the now full container in the bag. Mum won't mind if I go out for a bit, will she? I check the time first before walking out the front door, looking for a path to the forest.

Your backyard immediately connects to the forest, though it's nearly impossible to find a way in. You do find one eventually, though.

I step cautiously into the forest, looking around.

The forest is big, not too dark, and quite cool in this hot summer heat.

A bird twitters over head and you see a few small animals like rabbits around but no fox or red bird

I look for a trail that won't get me spiked by branches or tripped by stones.

THere's not to much option avialble but you do eventually find some worn paths.

Followng them, you soon find a large clearing. It's almost entirely quiet here.

I take out my pad and pencil and start sketching out the clearing, staying silent in a hope that some creatures may venture here.
