Bloodroot Ryori
My thought process if anyone is interested:
I knew I wanted to do something with a poisonous flower and after some research the Bloodroot flower really called to me. Since the Ryori is the fall pet I figured they would be perfect for this concept, especially with the "Petal Markings" gene and "Petal Wreath" mutation. The "Ghastly Banshee's Smoke" gene was chosen because I felt it made a nice backdrop for the petals above. The colors were taken from the Bloodroot flower. The white petals, yellow stamen, and - of course the source of the flower's name - the poisonous blood red juice of the flower.

I call this the White Widow Ryori, inspired by a stealthy spider who uses silk to snare her prey- more specifically, the character Hornet from Hollow Knight!

This kelp features fins that are reminiscent of torn sails and that very specific murky aqua-ish colour that often obscures sunken ships.
This guy is based off of a shadow, a spooky one at that! His scales represent the different phases of the moon, and the stars that shine bright on a full-moon night. Harvest Moon is what I would name this qitari :)

I based this design mostly on my very limited knowledge of blood poisoning. I used the Fancy Stripes and Leaf Veins genes to stimulate the visual effects on veins, as well as dark red, purple, and black undertones to outline the darkening pigmentation that comes with the condition. I also added Manticore wings for a dramatic flair. This is really the only reason I had, so I hope you like it!
