I think most ideas have already been suggested. I can't really think of anything else. Although I'm really looking forward to chatting with Mafia members and helping each other out. ^-^
The group breeding projects sound very fun, definitely something i'm also looking forward too! I think it would be fun having our own little mini events. Maybe some games here and there just for fun ^0^ Sorry if I wasn't much help but i'll do whatever I can to contribute to the Mafia and fellow Sylestians!

Edit: Check it out, I made a suggestion survey!

I have no idea how to make it more of an organized guild. xD; (I know what you mean when you say school club, don't get me wrong lol)
I like Wintery's idea of having "guild ranks"...so what I was thinking is to have several ranks, from starting recruit to adepts and then a rank where everyone can establish their own title. To advance to each rank, members would just have to do some tiny one-time tasks (release some pets, help out some newbies, do a good deed, etc).
Then I can (hopefully) go back, make some snazzy nametags with those titles for people to put in their About Me sections.

As for projects/contests...at the moment, I honestly don't have any prizes to give out to incentivise anything. I noticed that The Wolves (sorry to keep using them as an example, I actually admire their cohesiveness atm ;w;) have mini contests and they just do it for fun, and it still yields cute results. So I'm hoping that some players can just participate for fun for now. ^^;

I can imagine having a directory-type thing to organize members' shops and projects and whatnot, much like the Sylestian Mall idea and The Wolves' thread for members' projects and stuff (one post per member, etc). I don't know if it'll help the guild feel more guild-like aha.

Anyways, I bolded some of the ideas I came up with for now, and am pinging other players interested in joining. Tell me what you think?
Also, I should set up a google forms drive as a suggestion box...

Guild ranks would be helpful, I think. :0
Especially if there were certain things that required helping each other out to get to the next rank. An idea that spawned off of that could maybe be team games? Kinda like Plant Wars ; w ; but on a smaller scale with the prizes and stuff. Random trivia, as well, maybe?

One game I always love playing (but this will take a lot of people) is if we could organize something where we put clues in our profiles (and possibly pet names or threads), and it directs you to the next clue like a scavenger hunt.

Just throwing some ideas out there, I may be getting ahead of myself xD

@Strike, Flute

I agree, the 'ranks' can definitely help feign the look of order and be fun at the same time :3

/made a survey for suggestions, also edit'd it into my last post ;w;

I like team games~ It's just that I feel bad for all games, I don't exactly have the best prizes. xD;

And scavenger hunts are pretty cool. O: Maybe that can be something like an initiation event...haha.

I like the ideas, thanks~

@Red: I love nametags too, but I absolutely fail at making em LOL.
I hope when I have time, I can consult some peeps who make minimalist graphics for their profiles and ask them their advice on how to make em.

I curious what I'll come up with too. ;w;

(thankfully, summer means less school than normal, more time to polish up on my ideas, especially when festival's over!)

I love the idea of potential guild ranks. While thinking it over, I went and made a list of potential rankings, based off of actual mob rankings I listed functions.

This list isn't official and is not definite. It can always been removed or edited if users like the premise. I was just bored. XD

The boss
The head of the guild, sometimes called the don or an old Italian expression godfather. The boss, has the final say on all the important decisions, and helps with solving problems, answering questions. Basically everything the other rankings do. I think of this person as the leader/creator from MMO type guilds.

The Underboss
The Underboss(es), usually appointed by the Boss, is/are the second in command(s). The Underboss(es) is/are leader when The Boss isnt around. The Underboss helps: solve problems, advices the boss, answers questions, dealing with affiliates, hosts RPs, events, raffles (boss must approve first), etc. I think of them as Officers from MMO type guilds.

Consigliere
The Consigliere(s) is/are the liaison(s) for the guild. The Consigliere(s) helps: loan money to members, answer questions, helps newbies, deals with affiliates, sometimes recruit new members, and they help with raffle and event prizes. They dabble in a little bit of everything.

Caporegime/Capo
Capo(s) is/are the creative people in the guild. They are in charge of creating games, creating art, creating small competitions, and answers questions.

Enforcer
Enforcers help keep the peace. Enforcers help: answers questions, ease disputes/arguments between members, make sure all members act reasonably and respectful to one another.

Soldier
Soilders are the every day members. They participate in chats, events, raffles, etc. and help with anything the members above may need or ask. They can donate to the events, raffles, etc. They also help with come up with future ideas for events, raffles, etc. They can offer to help, or request help from any members.

Affiliates
Affiliates are a person/guild that is officially attached to ours. Although they arent a part of our guild, they are an ally. Sometimes may or may not be allowed to participate in our events, raffles, etc

Hmmmm,

Associating rank and function can get messy, since people can fall into more than one category very easily.

I think the rank should be based on how long the member has been part of the group except for the boss (only 1) and sub-bosses (by appointment only).

Edit:
I know this is a completely different direction, but team rocket ranks could be fun.
