Lol, it's fine. I don't consider colors part of breeding, since you can just use a philter to change the colors, where as, you can't use one to instantly get a 5-6 vis or 100+ to all stats.

I recently decided I hated the purple mane and pink eyes of my lupora... so I'm changing that! XD

I know that the base stats vary species to species, and fabled have higher overall stats; Griffi and Nyvene have the highest health and strength, and Nephs have the highest magic (I didn't research the other traits). And yes, a regular generated sylesti has higher stats than most caught of the same species, and enhanced generated sylesti have even higher.

However, even in Luporas, I am seeing no difference in base stats between an enhanced and mystically generated sylesti. Here's an example:

This guy is an enhanced generated lupora at level 0 with no armor.
This guy is a mystically generated Lupora at level 0 with no armor.

Both have the exact same stats. I checked Ligs, too, and found the same result.
For all that they are 250 diamonds more expensive, I'm pretty sure the only advantage to using a mystical essence is more exact colors.

Are you sure you were comparing base stats? Maybe one of the pets was leveled up or started as an egg and was nurtured/had a philter applied. If what you say is correct though, I would love to figure out where I am wrong since I will be starting stat breeding as well in a few months and starting with an even higher boost would be useful :)

Created http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=653342 and did not have the same stats, there must have been a change by Krin, after my comment that someone could generate a few Myst.s, and have more stats than someone who's been working with enhanced sylesti for a long time, for boosted stats... when the Mystical generated sylesti first came out. I know my Ryori, http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=332337 has 32 str, 40 int, 36 dex, and 48 agil for base, level 0 stats. *each level you gain the equivilant of 1 level up point to everything.*

And if I didn't catch a typo, or something looks funny... I accidentally cut my hand and arm open today with a hand held grinder, and got seen by the hospitol, got a bunch of stitches, but no pain medication, So I've been using the left over Oxycodone from my pain meds when my left lung spontaniously collapsed. I swear, once 1 thing is healed... another terrible injury happens!

If they changed the gap between mystical and enhanced that would be nice...considering that it really is challenging to increase stats. And that you see it as a mega competition ;)
then again why would you buy myst. Essences ? Generally my colours come out the way I plan them so.

I only bought 3, when the Ryori came out... Idk why. I guess, as a side, stat booster project.

And for colors, I'm too lazy to get the super accurate ones, so I just use the ones you can get with scales. And that purple color is all because of my first 4-star lupora and BandaidMcHealerson's 4-star lupora that we caught, and I used to boost the Max mana of my stat-ed lupies. :P

Hmm... ok... so I'm not gonna go on with my psychopathic onslaught of pushing draco off the stat boards... leveling all 46 of them to 60, and equipping them so they have the highest stats possible is more painful to think about than all the generations it's taken to get the stats I have...

But nothing says I won't strive to keep top.... >.> ...

With a few more nurtures, I should be able to break 100 on all stats, at level 0, and they'd all be fairly close!

P.S. If anyone is trying to stat breed drayel, let them know my males get put for breeding and prices are based on gene points. Each gene point is 1,000 each visible trait is 3,000. so for an enhanced generated, with 4 gp and two vis. would be 6,000 and good luck. Such as Draco
