@Cyanidae,
I've never tried using copic markers before. :v People seem to praise them, but then I start to wonder if they are overhyped? xD Actually now that you brought it up, what type of pen do people usually use for inktober? o.o

The undo button. If only I could press undo on a traditional drawing. I also like that you can create multiple versions digitally. Just create a new layer, and make a version 2. done~ For drawing traditionally, sometimes I fall into the trap of not wanting to mess things up. :( Which is never good.

Yeahh. Somehow after I've drawn traditionally, I start to wonder if there's more on the page, or more stuff on my hands lol. To me though the biggest downside to traditional, is just storing things, making sure you have supplies, and cleaning up. Kind of like the logistical stuff. otl

@Redfix
Thank you ^_^
I'm sure you can o: if you find some time to mess around with charcoal c:

Well i read up on 'em, apparently since they're alcohol based they blend better and don't smear ink? They do look pretty smooth compared to like, crayola markers or sharpies. Plus, the ink is refillable and they come in a million colors (was personally gonna start with just a couple grays to try out).

I've seen felt tipped inking pens, mostly, copics for non-hatching shading. This guy and others have put together a list of the pens they personally use.

I've been using the Pilot V5 Precise pens, I did find an actual inking pen when trying to organize my scattered supplies(moving is actually kinda nice that way), it's felt tipped but i haven't tried it out yet.

Oh god, i would love one. I make a LOT of mistakes, and the permanance of traditional(esp with pens) is sooo intimidating. And yeah, if i don't like my digital inking, i can just delete the layer and start again! Traditional is like, too bad, kiddo, you signed your soul away the moment you opened that pen...

My old, finished sketchbooks are taking up a lot of room. I don't wanna get rid of 'em, but i also don't wanna take more junk than i need with me, y'know? And i have all these random things i say i'll use, but i never do(i don't even remember what the graphite paper was for...or the purple spraypaint?), i just keep throwing away anything that doesn't seem expensive(which isn't a lot OTL).

Where do people even buy those pens... The only pen I have that I'd consider artistically useful is my Pilot Razor Point 2...

I really want some cool brushes and markers for my birthday. xD

Probably online like amazon or from Michael's or Hobby Lobby, those are the most prominent craft stores i know of, probably in the marker sections.
