I think that Aphrodite fell in love with Adonis because she had been shot with one of Eros's arrows, I think that at some point Persephone fell in love with him as well and Zeus had to intervene in the Goddesses argument. Adonis having to spend 1/3 of the year with each Goddess and the final 1/3 with the one of his choosing. I think he was killed by a wild boar but I'm not all that sure on that point. ^.^'

Well, from what i heard, it was correct on the first part, but I'm not sure about everything else you had said (i.e. 1/3 of the years, and then the wild boar death) but You are the winner for this question...
Please select a species from the list below, and say what colors your prefer as well as you maturity preferation, and I will try to get you a pet with the information you've given me... By the way, would you like to be added to the ping list?
Species List:
Lupora
Vulnyx
Zolnixi
Bulbori (i only have yellow)

Thanks! ^.^ Maybe a Zolnixi (I don't mind the maturity) with autumnal colours? This time of year has me inspired :3
I think I'll skip the ping list for now. I'll probably just drop in now and then when I have the time! ^.^

7. Eros was a...son of Aphrodite, right? Isn't he like Cupid or something? :P
Also, I feel suspicious about this thread as we just started learning about Greek Mythology this year in Language Arts.
Also, I apologize if this was already done. I was just looking at the first post. DX

Ooh, great! I love Greek mythology. Could I be added to the ping list please?
Eros is the Greek version of Cupid. He's the son of Aphrodite.
What Hanamomoya said about the 1/3's of the year is right. He was killed by a wild boar while hunting, and after he died anemones bloomed from where his blood had fallen.
I know Hana has already answered the Adonis question and Typhlosion has answered the Eros question, but I just wanted to confirm and add on to their answers.
Thanks!

Cerberus is the guard dog to the Underworld. He makes sure the dead don't escape and that the living don't get in. Although there was a few times he wasn't really able to do that job. *looks at Heracles and Orpheus*
