I'm not really trying to tell anyone how to draw or be a sore thorn in ones rear-end, but to me the female Puffador's muzzle seems off some, seemingly giving it a little deformed looking muzzle. Also the females head seems bigger then the males along with the factor the seem short/stubby. Anyways, sometimes I agree that maybe the males expression should change a little, but on the same note, to me the expression was always the thing that seemed to keep me from thinking "Oh, they're cute little fluffy chihuahuas!" It seems to give the male Puffador the sense that he isn't just some small or feeble creature, not that I'm saying the female or any other sylesti does, but just that the expression seems to create a sense of that he isn't as week as he might seem.



I'm happy for the revamp. Aside from the females muzzle, they're all well made in my opinion. Honestly, all of the sylesti are quite well made, once again, in my opinion.

The revamps look very nice. Can't wait to see them when they are colored in and all.

I don't think the new designs are an improvement but that just me... I like the current ones better, they're more elegant.


I do think the nytekries are due for a revamp though.

I think the baby female is adorable! And it can be seen that a lot of detail has gone into the puffs~

I thought quite a lot, and my condensed feedback would be only two things:

1. The female adult's head is way too large. Please shrink it to match the male's.

2. Redo all of the front legs. There are too many problems with them.
(In a nutshell: all seem rubbery with no fur, the adult legs are connected to the main body with a divot despite being fully extended, adult female's right leg is too large/long (perspective is off), adult male's right leg is floating in space, adult female's left leg is oddly pointed in the back near the paw, adult male's left leg has no definition in it, additionally the bottom of the paw is awkwardly rounded, the baby female's right leg looks like an estranged stiff log, lastly, the male's left leg starts the paw too high up (where the leg curve indents) -- this makes the paw about 1 1/2 times the length of it's other paw.)


I think if these two things are done, they will look excellent ^^'

Thanx, Chocolat! And I do get your point about the adult female looking a bit sad. I saw that, too, and then I took a second look. I now think she only looks a bit sad because of the lack of details and shading, and especially because of the blank eyes. If you imagine those things added in, she looks like she would demolish Vorkids, but with a song in her heart. Probably a jaunty tune, or "I Feel Pretty," or something like that. She probably also taught her puppies to unlace your sneakers, and will be snickering quietly around the corner while they look up at you with their innocent eyes (and shoelaces hanging out of their mouths). :D

I also kind of agree with the folks who are concerned about proportionate sizes of the adults' ears. In particular, I wonder about the ears conflicting with wing mutations.

Does anyone else wonder where the tassels/feelers/tendril-things attach to the rest of the Puff? It kind of looks like the tassels are coming out of their ears, but I don't believe that's what's actually happening.

Loveroanimals, I think your revision of the adult male's expression looks better than mine looks.

And I agree with Frelioan; I need more money to get more Puffs and more room for more Puffs. Frelioan, I always thought that Puffs dealt with enemies by tricking and outsmarting them, and that their expressions should reflect this. They may look a bit like toy dogs, but I imagine them fighting enemies like a cross between Hermione Granger and Bugs Bunny!

Like a number of other people, I wonder how in Sylestia the creative folks managed to make such a good start on the Puff re-vamp right after the Ny'venes, and the Summer Fest, and while preparing the Megazone! I would ask, but I'm afraid I'll find out that the process required ritual sacrifice, or they borrowed a Tardis, or something.

Actually, I'd like to see little puffs of fur...feathering...at the ankles and up the back of the legs to the body, so that the fur cascades down and over the feet and trails behind them a few inches. This would turn pups into adorable little fuzzballs.

Oh wow, I thought the originals were nice and really liked them, but the revamp is gorgeous!
I love how the females head is now turned and we can see both her eyes. And I love that the male still has that same expression/attitude. So looking forward to the revamp!
