Sorry, stupid question. Will just post designs, if that's okay.
Winter Wonderland Aeridini
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening? A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, walking in a Winter Wonderland... Every day is snow day for these Aeridinis. They capture the beauty of snow with their shades of blue and white. These little guys could live in a snow globe and be happy with it, as long as it's winter! It's that time of year, and the Winter Wonderland Aeridinis are ready!
Gingerbread Aurleon
Gingerbread is a common treat for the Christmas season, and this Aurleon is starting off the nonfabled sylesti alphabet with the snack. There are A few different shades of brown/tan in this design to symbolize the different shades that can be found in gingerbread and, even, the light cream frosting. There is white in G3 to emphasize the frosting with another shade. Red is a common Christmas color, and therefore, is used often to decorate gingerbread man. This Aurl is decorated with red, as well, because of this.
Warm Fireplace Bulbori
Imagine a family sitting around their fireplace, singing Christmas carols and feeling the wearmth inside compared to the bitter frost outside. They're happy, and they're in the Christmas spirit. That moment of warmth and love is what this Bulbori portrays. The darker colors represent the coal sustaining the fire, keeping the warmth going. Bulboris are generally very fluffy and kind creatures, and they're very gentle, as well. This is why I chose the Bulbori, which has no fire traits, to represent the fire, so that they could show the calm nature of a Christmas fire.
Bumble Monster/Abominable Snowman Draeyl
If you've ever seen Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you know the lovable, hug-able abominable snowman, Bumble. He's fierce, he's mean, and he's adorable! Bumble is a favorite of many young children. The name Bumble Monster Draeyl is interchangeable with Abominable Snowman, however, if you want. This sweet draeyl design just wants some love!
Santa's Sleigh Faelora
What's that speeding across the night sky, bringing presents to all and ho-ho-hoing? Why, it's Santa in his sleigh. These dashing Faelora capture the spirit of the delivery, representing his sleigh. After all, Santa wouldn't get anywhere without a sleigh to ride in. There are varying shades of red to fit the sleigh itself, as well as a couple spots of gold for the bells that adorn the sleigh and the legs that hold it up. These Santa's Sleigh Faelora are ready to escort Santa to every house, carrying his load of toys to dole out.
Grinch Griffi
This was a tough one. I had no idea what I wanted to do for the Griffs. The Grinch, as everyone knows, is a very coldhearted, mean hater of Christmas. He's also very green, as this Griffi is. There is a white color on him to accentuate the green, and a red color for the Santa suit he wears eventually. The white can also be attributed to this.
Sugarplum Fairy Kelpari
As I designed these Kelpari, I shamelessly listened to Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (one of my favorite composers) on repeat so that I may truly capture the essence of the song. These two Kelpari are light in not only color, but spirit, as well. The Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy is soft and sweet, and it speaks in shades of lavender and soft blues. The only hard color is Color 3, which represents the slight intensity at the end of the song.
Sufganiyot Lighira
The initial post said "winter/holiday". This means, "not just Christmas". Sufganiyot is a wonderful pastry eaten at Chanukah, typically in Israel. A sufganiyot is a jelly-filled doughnut with powdered sugar sprinkled delicately on top. The traditional jelly to be used in them is strawberry, as shown by our lovely Lighs up there. This is the reference picture I used (I don't want to cloud the post with other pictures). The g1 and g2 represent the powdered sugar, while the eye color, g3, and m3 represent the jelly.
Hot Chocolate Luffox
Hot chocolate is a common treat for the wintertime. It helps keep the cold out, and warms you up inside. This Luffox is just as sweet as the treat, and if not, sweeter! With shades of brown and cream to represent the creamy beverage, this little Luff captures the essence of hot chocolate. There's also white in the g3 slot to represent marshmallows or whipped cream, whichever you prefer, of course.
Evergreen Lunemara
It's a tradition to decorate a Christmas tree, and this Lune represents the evergreen tree that is to be decorated. There are varying shades of green on this little bugger to capture the tree, and even a few shades of red and yellow for the Christmas decorations. There's white to represent the snow outside that dons the tree before it is selected and decorated.
Drummer Boy Lupora
I was told a story about the drummer boys from Jillyana earlier. Drummer boys were brought onto battle fields and told to play their drums in a way that they would direct the battle and keep the morale of the soldiers up. They were often targeted first because of this. Many drummer boys died. I felt compelled to base a design off of this. The dreary colors represent the battle and the toll it takes on everyone. G3 is colored with white to give the hint of snow on the battlefield.
*Will add more*
