1. Find an animal swimming in the water.
They're small fish. I really wanted to find something better.. Like a turtle... or an alligator. But I really struggled with this one. Nothing wanted to come out and play >.< Anyways, they are so small I circled them. But I swear they are there if you look close enough. There is the original. (I almost took a picture of a kid swimming cuz.. you know, they can be animals. But.. that felt really awkward so I didn't.)

There's a baby groundhog on that stump. (I cropped it) The parents are like twice as big. Real fat and adorable.

Right after I snapped this shot, I dropped my sign into the river...
I had to run and go catch it, obviously I don't want to litter >.< You'll noticed my 'weathered' sign in a few of the pictures. Thank goodness it wasn't my phone.

Our 30 year old Blueberry bush which stands over 12 feet tall. Not quite ripe yet but they will be soon~!

Look at those vicious thorns! I love this plant. It is the only survivor from Texas. All my other plants died. There was a big version of this tree / bush in the historic park in the small college town I loved in Texas. My grandmother and I would oft visit the park during my lunchtime between classes. There were ducks and turtles (who ate ducklings, which was horrific) and lots of trees. And this tree-type was near the bench at which we always sat. It would have lemon/limey fruits on it sometimes. I don't know if they are edible, but they smell good.

Okay, this little guy has a story. I've been watching him grow slowly since the beginning of spring. When I came out to check out the yard and him a few weeks ago, I saw that someone stepped on him. He was bent in half. I tried to straighten him up and.. Well, he seems to be doing okay now! You can see in his middle, where he was bent. (Also, this is one of my favorite photos I took!)

Extra Stuff from my Adventures!

I hope it's okay, I'm going to add more photos (well, links to photos so as to not bog down the site any more than necessary) about my adventures! Most of these don't have my username, but I'm not submitting them anyways. I just wanted to share them because I saw some neat stuff!

Baby firefly!! It's a Firefly Pupa (not larva like I labeled the picture). I was planting a plant and I saw this little grub. But he was pink! I'd never seen that before. After extensive searching on the internet, with no luck, I had a hunch and searched fireflies and.. There he was! Firefly baby! I absolutely love fireflies. Don't worry, I put him right back into the dirt where he was originally. My grandmother and I thought of the same name for him: Fred.

Creek is behind the fence (unscrupulous people sometimes climb down to the creek to climb up the walls and get into the houses and steal stuff so they fenced it)

Malunggay (moringa) plant leaves. Very nutritious. Add them in sour soup or give them to nursing moms for added nutrition.

Pineapple plant. Pineapple harvesters need very thick denim pants just so they can wade through the very prickly leaves.
