The horses stomp as you try to enter the stables, obviously not happy. They still had halters & lead ropes attached so you could tie them outside.
"It's okay guys. I'm just here to clean up your stalls, then I will leave you guys in peace, okay?" I coo to them, trying to make them less agitated.

Your father smiled at you and left his cooking, rushing over and embracing you in a hug, "We know you have to leave, but we wish the best for you." he slipped something into your pocket and smiled, "Keep it safe." you can feel whatever it is wriggling slightly.

I peer curiously at the tracks, trying to determine how old they are. Most likely the deer stopped to drink. After a moment, I decide that there was nothing I could do with a deer and I had better catch up to the Lord and deliver the potion. I then flew up to see if I could spot either the deer or the Lord. (Or anything else)

No. They were having to live in this, so they must want to leave. I have to clean this place for them. I can feel my anger getting a hold of me. 'How long has the stables have been like this?'

I fly back to the stream and drink until my thirst is satisfied. Then I refill my bottle and ready myself for the long walk ahead.

(That is what I was thinking which is why I decided to forget about the deer.)

I smile and nod, before turning and heading out towards the marketplace. After I leave, I curiously look to see what is in my pocket

I snatched up my backpack and carefully- And I repeat - carefully snatched up my Coffee while stuffing the note in my pocket. I should probably head out now.
