Backstory

> Long time ago in the early days of Viera [Fantasy World], there was two factions; The Der faction and the Elub faction. They fought each other for years and years, the war never ended. Both factions wanted this to end but there was no end to it. One myth stated in the Elub's book that if a Blood Moon occur, all hope is lost. The Elub faction ignored that myth as in one night a Blood Moon occur. That night, the two factions looked upon a strange creature, an creature with a symbol of the moon. It was no passive creature at all as it attacked both the factions. Soon after the moon ended, so did the creatures. Both factions were on the edge of dying, at that moment, the war ended as they combined together to form the faction Elpurp.

That myth was talking about The Red Mara, an rare creature that only appears during the Blood Moon at night. As it comes out during the occur, it has the taste for blood as it is recommend to stay indoors during this time. The Red Mara is a type of Lunemara who thirst on blood and sometimes water, mainly on blood. It's location would be in deep dark caves. They are not passive creatures at all, their mostly aggressive. But in one Red Mara, wasn't aggressive...

Melona is the name that a Elpurp person gifted her name, she was raised by them and treated with good gifts. The people worship her as a goddness of the Blood Moon. She would help them out and even try to speak their language as she could understand theirs as well, she is a fine help to anyone who is in need. The Blood Moon occur doesn't effect her at all as she was treated as her own species. She is apart of The Red Mara and a sub species of Lunemara. And so, she lived with the Elpurp and explored to other factions as well.

This is Buttermon

Inspiration is the pokemon Butterfree. (yeah, I am a pokemaniac)

Buttermon is from another world, the pokemon world... one day, the pokemon Hoopa found her Near death. feeling pity for the Butterfree, Hoopa sent her to a new world to be reborn.
Not much is known on how she came here, but apparently she has all her memories of her time in the other world.

Inspired by Moonstones



She dwells in caves. Legend has it, that should you follow her she will lead you to her namesake. A moonstone.
(Lunamara's are named after the moon. Felt I should honor that.)

Dream Catcher Lunemara



(This lunemara was inspired by the idea that this lunemara would fly around at night and catch kids bad dreams, this lunemara is the embodiment of what dreamcatcher means, almost like a tooth fairy)

Aurora was the first of her kind. While flying around at night buzzing by windows she was often unsettled when she would see a child inside, crying and writhing while they slept. Curious and hopeful Aurora set out to discover a way to help these children battle their fears. For months she worked night and day attempting to create and combine spells to do such a thing, when finally one morning it came to her and she set off to make sure it worked. At night Aurora flew into the room of a small child who was crying out in fear and whispered the spell into his ear and suddenly the crying stopped and the child fell into a peaceful slumber. Since then Aurora has created a guild of Dream Catcher Lunemara.

This Lunemara was inspired by the Solar Eclipse that will be seen during 8/21/17, and it will be the first day of school for me.

So my inspiration for this design was actually the Forest Spirits Arms. They are one of my favorite new traits for the lunemara and so I wanted to make a design that featured them.

This is Silvanus. He is an old, wise caretaker of an ancient forest. He uses his mystical powers to preserve the balance of nature and keep the cycle of life going. He is a benevolent caretaker but he does not grant wishes but those who seek him out for advice leave his domicile feeling enlightened. His power is best at night, and during the full moon he radiates a brilliant luminescence which reaches to the far corner of the forest, nourishing and revitalizing all living things.

Name - Starfire (Starfire Lunemara)



The one who produces the stars and destroys them. Who gathers together the dark matter invisible to the naked eye from our universe to create planets galore. Starfire, the goddess of ultimate creation due to the stars and planets we can and cannot see. She is in charge, and with a single thought will bring together our galaxies.
