My inspiration for this was originally a Christmas tree and a color I just discovered and really liked. But the finished product looks like a tropical bird. Where I live in California, it doesnt snow, so I dont see snow except when I drive at least 4 hours during winter break. As such, I probably cant provide a very good design based on a normal winter. Basically, I think this griffi turned out to be inspired by a Christmas tree in a tropical country.

This Griffi is based on my favorite christmas snack of all time, candy canes. I used the red white and green candy canes instead of the classic red and white because they're the ones I eat more often and because I wanted a wider variety of colors.

My inspiration was a snow covered meadow with a frozen creek flowing through it.

Toy Griffi. The inspiration is a kind of stereotypical christmas toy. Like a stuffed animal or little figurine type. I loosely based it off of a reindeer for the main colors, but added some brighter colors and other things to really give it more feeling and emotion

Red velvet cake!
Every year we have this tradition to each a red velvet cake. Don't know where or how it started but I enjoy it!

My inspiration for this Griffi was candy canes! I love candy canes and I couldn't think of another idea, so I decided to come up with this Griffi!
