Mel jumped, and shoved her phone back in her pocket, at the same time taking off her headphones. She could text her friend back later. "Oh, hi!" Mel tried for a smile, but failed because shyness.

She smiled shyly back, "I'm Ilya, daughter of the owner of this estate. Are you one of the new students?" she spoke quietly and was a lot shorter than you.

Mel nodded quietly. "Yes, I'm a new student. I'm Melody, but you can call me Mel." She managed a small smile. "My horse is in the trailer, where should I lead her?"

"Oh - I-I'm suppose to show you to the lower stable and carry your tack." she stuttered a little.

"Oh, please, don't worry yourself about my stuff." Mel walked around to the back and opened the doors for Astraeus, followed by picking up her tack. "I'll carry my tack, could you lead my horse and me to the stables?"

Astraeus was scraping the hoof with her hoof, "Oh! An arabian" she smiled and walked in, untying the slip-knotted head-collar and giving her a sugar cube. Ilya giggled quickly and lead her out, "Do you plan on studding her at any point?"

"Possibly, in the future." Mel said. "So, do you ride?" She attempts awkwardly to start a conversation.

She nodded. As you walked towards the stables visible, stalls aligned the sides. Only one had a horse in it, sticking it's head out. She pointed at the horse walker, which was going at a slow place. A small mare was in the, walking. She looked over the edge and neighed at you two, "That's my Frosty!" Ilya giggled.
