Finally got it to work. Here is my valentine. It took ages to make, but was really fun to do. Thank you Sylestia! I hope everyone has a good valentine.

Stage 1: Planning

Stage 2: Cutting

Stage 3: Assembling

Stage 4: Details

Stage 5: Final piece
(I took several pics of this as my camera isn't the best, and its large)

I had to get this done before the school week started so I don't fall behind, But I think they turned out lovely Enjoy!

Warning this is very Image heavy!

So I have recently gotten into making pose able animals, and though I'm not terribly good at it I was planing on using the new species as practice anyway. So Here go's!

First The heads and feet I make out of polymer clay and attach to a copper wire armature that I made before I did the clay

After that I cook them and let them cool before moving on to the fur after they cook they will be rock solid.... even if I broke the males horns a few times .....

After letting the chill out, they came back to a more dimly lit work station to get a nice new coat of fur added to their faces and a few highlights and touch ups! After a new hair cut they got their heads back on their shoulders and I was able to beef them up and start to give them more fur fluffiness tailor made for them.

After Many tedious hours of Hand sewing and many pricked fingers I finished the female..... or so I thought..

But not long after I finished the Male I realized they needed their feathers preened and then they took another a nice photo

Then With a few leftover materials and markers I made their Valentine to one another
Also The lighting was again bad and the card says" I'd be Lost without you"
Edit: I just notice Thorns felt design had the same saying XD super cute

After that and getting all cozy for their date which consisted of many naps I took some quick pictures of the Adorable Occasion

This was a blast! Thanks for doing this again this year!!!

I've got shiny pink and green paper. Let's see what I can do!

1- Folding an origami heart.

2- Completed origami heart.

3- I decided to assemble my valentine by pinning it to a board.

4- Added some leaves and vines to emulate the decoration from the Grove elixir/draught.

5- What am I folding now?

6- Oh! It was a face. It's a female from the new species!

7- And here is my completed valentine! <3 <3 <3

Hey Just wanted to let you know Your Pictures aren't visible maybe Using Imgur.com would help ^.^ Look forward to seeing what you made! Dropbox works with some systems, but I have found Imgur allows Everyone to see the image I haven't had a problem with it yet in 2 + years ^.^

Would it be alright if it was painted on a canvas?

I think so! Pretty much anything goes as long as it has a reference to the Lost Grove (So the new species, Mega Zone, Lost Grove Draughts/Traps, etc). As long as it has a reference to something like one of those and it is evident that it is a Sylestia Valentine, you are good to go! Goodluck ^^

Right so im goin ahead and posting these should be completely done tomorrow.

1.) Drawing it out with a little side quote thingy! "Our love is as beautiful as the grove that separates it" will be what it says in the end.

2.) Had to redraw it on a thinner sheet of paper. Got some carbon paper to transfer it onto the canvas with, hopefully all goes well. *mad cackling* It worked!

3.) Got most of it painted! Will get into better light once I'm completely finished! Now just to figure out how to paint the feathers.

4.) Feathers painted yet not finished yet. Have to add a bit more detail to the females before I can add the quote!

5.) Final product!
