Personality:
Ren isn't known to be very talkative and tends to be seen avoiding others at times(often being pushed by the other hosts to interact. He is known for being shoved into a situation where he's interacting with the girls at the club, but he will end up interacting in the end). He'd rather show his emotions through his actions, facial expression, and other forms of behavior, despite it being difficult to see at times due to his stoic face. The easiest way to see how he's feeling and what he's thinking is in his eyes. He can get flustered easily and when he does, blush will form over his cheeks and nose and he'll put his face in his hands or find some other way to cover his face. Ren may come off as harsh at times, but he is very protective over those he cares about and can honestly be a sweetheart. He is known to try too hard, especially when it comes to impressing someone he likes, and will often try to make sure those around him are happy. He is sometimes a rather sensitive person, just as easily able to come down to tears as he is to snap at a person. Don't get him wrong, he can be an******and will fight when challenged(and will likely never give up when in one), but he does feel guilt when he's been too harsh to another and will beat himself up for stupid things. Ren is known to be rather creative, excelling mainly in art subjects and will sometimes be found with the girl's in the host club creating art and not always just socializing.


Backstory:
Ren wasn't raised in the life of riches, despite his mother coming from it. He spent most of his life in a very poor area(where he spent most of his time fending for his life) until he was taken from his parents and put into his grandmother's custody(which he was definitely okay with). He was then assigned into a much better educational system and joined the school (Ouran High School) a bit later in the school year. He started attending the school and his grandmother really encouraged him to make friends. Ren's grandmother wanted this so much, she decided that she'd have him join a club. She told him that she wouldn't pick him up until at least an hour after school ended, so he ended up being alone at the school with his sketchbook as entertainment. He didn't really want to be a part of a club and, just between you and me, was too afraid to actually talk to someone about joining a club, so spent that time wandering the halls. He was offered the position to be a host after finding him roaming the school after hours by himself.
