Hi everyone! I recently found out that my family is sponsoring a poor kid in Thailand, paying for her school fees and all (which I am kinda impressed upon, since my family already has a lot of kids). Her name is Laksana Noihiran (Fong), and apparently we have been sponsoring her since July 18, 2011, somehow without me noticing. She's about the same age as me (13 years old). She is currently studying for the finals, and I sent a letter to her recently, so i would like all of us to pray for her.

Dear God, please help Fong with her tests and her education and bless her family. Please help her to choose a good path for her future so when she grows up she can help her family and help a bunch of other people too. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, please bless Nightshades, and please bless Fong. Please bless them entirely, body, mind, heart, soul, spirit, their whole being. Please help them become the young adults You want for them to be, for Your glory and for their good. Please draw them close to you, and help them weather every storm under the shelter of Your wings. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Well, Nightshades got us off to a good start with our first prayer! Please feel free to pray for Fong as well as for other things that concern you. Please make sure your posts, whether prayer or otherwise, reflect the grace and love of Jesus, and not any hate or judgement of others.

For those who don't know, I'm an adult and used to be a teacher, and am very much aware of the potential dangers of the internet. A few friendly reminders:

1. Familiarize yourself with the Terms of Service (linked at the bottom of the page). It is your guide to keeping your post, whether prayer or otherwise, in Krin's good graces.

2. Don't reveal anything personal you will regret later. I know prayer is (and I think should be) very intimate. Since this is a public forum, keep in mind that anyone on the site can read your prayer/post, and anyone can screenshot it, so even if you remove it, it's not completely gone.

3. Don't out other people in your prayer/post. If you want to reference another person, use pronouns (such as they, she, he, etc.) or generic terms such as "someone", especially if you have something negative to say about their behavior.

4. Based on my reading of the Bible, I believe prayer is meant to be constructive--helping people, not hurting them. Please try to keep your prayers constructive.

That's all for now. I'll try to pray for every request at least once, within 24-48 hours of posting. Oh, and if you want to pray but don't want to type it out--go for it! God is always happy to hear from you. You can trust Him to give you His attention, because He loves you.
