Okay, so I decided to be creative and make something different. I thought it would be fun to make a Sylestia barn! A recipe I have never tried, a pattern I am making and decorating skills I don't have. What could possibly go wrong?! :-P
The dough was a challenge, but I figured out how to get the pieces I needed cut, baked and cooling.
Some sugar cookie Sylestia heads...yeah, I am not quitting my day job.
The barn is assembled! Thank goodness for royal frosting. The critters actually look much better in the barn than I thought they would.
The finished barn. I think Farm Maiden Rosemary was tired of the Nytes roosting on the barn roof and put a ton of bird spikes up there to keep the buggers off. :-P
Closeup. I think I went a bit overboard with the yellow food coloring on the coconut flakes. It still looks kind of like hay.
I am actually really happy with how it turned out. I typically have a really hard time getting the cool idea in my head to actually look decent in reality. That said, this took forever to do! I don't think I will be making another one anytime soon. :-P

they didn't work do you use google chrome because if you do, you can right click then click on copy image address/link. Or you can add .jpg at the end of the link.

So i went to the local walmart and bought this gingerbread manor. The entire structure is held together with icing and fondant.
This is all of the supplies that I used.

I have a question
I and my siblings all made different gingerbread houses, and I have pictures of the processes and the finished results with the usernames, but not '2018 winter festival'.
Would it still be valid to post the pictures with just the username?
We ate most of the houses,, would it make any sense to take pictures of the remaining pieces with 'winter festival 2018'?
Thanks Krin! And sorry for not reading the post carefully through.
((two of my six siblings play this game,, they are Ripred and doeisa, just in case that information matters))
