It was busy, perhaps there was a pagan ceremony going on? Or a miracle healing? There were also plenty of people you'd never seen before, or had seen briefly, but never spoken to.

She walked out keeping to the shadows. She looked around trying to see where the most people were and if there was a special activity she forgotten.

Apart from the usual noises of animals in the village or jungle, it was quiet. All the trading stalls were closed down and few lanterns were on. Your family were not making any noise that you could detect. Your fingers tingled, it was a good night. The stars were out, there were barely any stars. There was a warm breeze that you could hear against the glass window.

I quietly sit up, stretching. I get out of bed, pulling on some clothes. I silently sneak out of my room, heading outside to look at the stars.

He chuckled, "Of course, you're both my beautiful girls." the food tasted lovely. Your dad put some food on the plate, "Do you want to put this by your mums bed?"

They seemed to be heading further up to where the leaders houses were and the main trading centre was.

It made your stomach rumble. Outside, there was a chattering of birds. You spotted two small ones fly past your window, they were blue with white chests. There was a gentle murmur from the streets through your window and into your bedroom, indicating it wasn't a particularly busy morning.

I yawn and go downstairs to see what is for breakfast.

She frowned wondering what might be going on there. She moved quickly and tried to move quietly through the shadows to the leaders houses.

She had dove wings and was fascinatingly watching your older brother cook pancakes and various toppings to go with them. He was mostly human, but had wings like yours. One of them was currently injured, as it'd been hit and pierced with a stray arrow. There was bacon bits, cooked fruit, honey, lemon and even toffee as a range of topping choice.

"What happened to you?" I ask my brother, grabbing a pancake and putting bacon bits on it.

He chuckled, "Of course, you're both my beautiful girls." the food tasted lovely. Your dad put some food on the plate, "Do you want to put this by your mums bed?"

She nodded, and after she'd finished eating she grabbed the plates and hurried off to her parents bedroom
