whooh, thanks Raindrop barked as a small bundle of fur came charging out of a bush and pounced at her
Blaze watched as the two wolfs killed a goose. I should steal it he thought before charging out of his hiding place and jumped at the nearest wolf, one with white fur with gray spatters on it

Raindrop gasped in surprise as she was thrown over. Looking up she almost barked in amusement, It was a pup
"Stop, its a pup," Raindrop barked to Phoenix
Blaze yelped in pain as the other wolf scratched his shoulders and backed away. They called me a pup, thought Blaze growling under his breath.

Phoenix relaxed her claws but still kept an offensive stance. "Don't try anything funny," she growled.

The wind blew lightly through the grass carrying with it the ever family smell of the wheat grass. Underpaw the leaves gave up a slight crunch as his foot came to rest. His quarry looked up lightly, scanning the area for any signs of danger. They were unaware of the danger that lurked right before them. The brilliant white wolf was crouched in the high grass watching as his prey drew closer. At the last second he sprang forward lightly pawin g at the butterfly as it fluttered past. With happy yips he chased after it. "Boy I wish I could flutter like that! It must be so cool to just fly around like that!" He barked as he watched the insect still as it flew off high into the sky. From down wind the familiar scent of burning could be smelt. Dawn looked up just in time to see the black pelted wolf retreat into the forest line once more. "There that wolf is again...I wonder who they are. If I could just catch up to them I'm sure we could be friends...or at least try to be friends...."
